Stiff Little Fingers 2013. Kan det vara något? Jo det var frågan jag och Nicklas ställde oss när bilen styrde söderut mot Göteborg. Antingen så är det kanon och man lever på konserten flera månader efteråt, eller så har man en fadd smak i munnen av att ha blivet lurat av profithungriga fördettingar….. Hur som helst vi gick till Bishops Arms för att ta en öl och träffa några gamla och nya bekantingar. Väl på Pustervik kom vi precis för att se Trouble Makers dra igång. Har inte sett dem på ett tag men de är alltid sevärda. Dock var inte publiken riktigt på hugget. I pausen köptes tröjor och öl. SLF kom in till ”Jonny Was” och startade  med min absoluta favorit ”At The Edge”. Låten som så precis beskrev hur jag kände mig som arg och förvirrad 15 åring. Bandet fortsatte i ett furiöst tempo. Efter öppningsspåret kändes det som om det gjorde en dag på jobbet. Inte dåligt inte bra utan bara oinspirerat. Halvvägs in i spelningen vänder det, någonstans vid ”Doesn´t Make It Allright” och Picadilly Cicus” är spelningen magisk. Efter detta pogar publiken allt vildare och sjunger med. Bandet ler och öser på. Vi får i stort sett alla låtar från ”Inflamable Matarial” och ”Nobodys Heroes”. Någonstans vid just ”Nobodys Heroes” har jag ingen röst kvar av allt sjungande. Publiken ropar ut dem för två extra nummer omgångar och de avslutar med ”Alternativ Ulster”. Lyckliga åker vi hem. Enigt konstaterar Jag och Json att SLF 2013 var mycket roligare att se än spelningen 1982.  Go For It Guys & come Back Soon!

Stiff Little Fingers 2013th Could it be something? Well that was the question I and Nicklas asked ourselves when the car headed south towards Gothenburg. Either it's cannon and you live at the concert for months afterward, or you have a stale taste in my mouth to have become deceived by profit-hungry beforepeople ..... Anyway we went to the Bishop's Arms for a beer and meet some new and old familiar entries. Once on Pustervik we came just to see Troublemakers launch. Have not seen them in a while but they are always worth seeing. However, the audience was not really on the ball. In the break we bought shirts and beer. SLF came onto "Jonny Was" and started with my absolute favorite "At The Edge". The song that so exactly described how I felt as angry and confused 15 year old. The band went on a furious pace. After the opening track, it felt like it did a day at work. Not bad, not great but just uninspired. Halfway through the show turns it, somewhere in the "Does not Make It Alright" and Picadilly Cicus "gig is magical. After this pogo the audience ever wilder and singing along. The band smiles and pours on. We get almost all the songs from "Inflammable Mataerial" and "Nobodys Heroes". Somewhere at the right "Nobodys Heroes" I have no voice left by all singing. The crowd shouts them out for two encores rounds and end with "Alternative Ulster". Happy we go home.
