SICK TASTE RECORDS VOL 1(2LP-SICK TASTE RECORDS SICK 666)

En rejäl samling från mitt nya skivbolag Sick Taste Records. Börjar med två riktigt bra horrorpunkband Scarecrow och Black Trail och jag känner adrenalinet komma. De flesta banden kommer från Tyskland men det finns inslag av andra länder som Österrike, Sverige, Spanien, Kanada , USA, ItAlien och mer länder. Väldigt många av låtarna är exklusiva för denna skiva och det gillar man ju som skivköpare.. 27 låtar är det på skivan och mer än hälften är exklusiva för den här skivan. Skivan finns i 150 ex så kanske svår att få tag på….28 Spline är lite annorlunda med sitt psychobillysound som är riktigt snabbt. All the Ashes är annorlunda med sin rytmiska musik och det känns som om man är på ett rave men kul när det bryts av lite med annan musik. Holy Madness är tunga och har lite annorlunda stil. Kanadensiska 5 cent freakshow är ju helt underbara med en snabb låt som är svår att beskriva och man hinner nästan inte eftersom den bara är 1,12. Thee Flanders är bra och spelar någon slags snabb horrorpunk men det känns som om det finns bättre saker på skivan. Rampires avslutar sida A och det är en snabb och tung horrorpunklåt. Blue Rockin startar sida B med sin psychobilly och är helt OK. Vårt svenska bidrag är Suburban Drugdealers med ett countryliknande sound blandat med gospel…udda. Kone Krawall klub ger sida B en fortsatt udda stil med sin obeskrivbara musik. Bathead är också synthbaserade och rytmiska och ett ganska skönt sound men kanske inte riktigt vad jag väntade mig. Amerikanska Grave Robber räddar upp sida B lite grand med sina körer och riktigt hårda låt Straight to hell. The New Warrings kör lite samma stuk med ganska hård horrorpunk.

Spanien inleder sida C och det på sitt hemspråk och det gör det lite annorlunda och detta ackompanjeras av snabb och hård punk. Österrikiska Bzfos har en låt som jag verkligen gillar som är någon blandning av psychobilly och horrorpunk på något underligt sätt. Surfin Retards är precis som det låter..surfrock på ett annorlunda sätt. Zweite Jugend har med en Liss Eulenherz på sin synthiga låt..fräck ändå på något sätt. Dread Cabinet har också ett annorlunda sound för att vara på detta bolag men jag blev lurad av inledningen för när låten sätter igång blir det en riktigt skön punklåt med kvinnlig sång. Jävligt skön låt! The Twangjackets har ett sound som påminner mig om Cramps, B 52ś och surfmusik på samma gång. Kul låt! Sist ut på sida C är Dr Geek & The Cult of men och deras Love after death och det är nog bästa låten på sida C med sitt sköna horrropunksound. Sida D startar med an akustisk fast tung låt i horrpunkstil med James Rottencorpse & The rising Dead. Riktigt skön låt. Chaneys kommer från Ryssland och spelar snabb horrorpunk som är riktigt bra…bra produktion och ett skönt sound. Kanske bästa låten på skivan?  Humanoide from the Deep kommer från Italien och har ett snabbt men lite mörkare horrorpunksound. Sinnesloschen har ett tungt sound och sjunger på tyska…det gillar jag. Rod Usher gör en riktigt skön låt med olika snabbhet och det gillar jag. Kan inte sätta detta i något fack. The order of the fly kommer från USA och deras låt börjar så skönt så jag vet att detta kommer att bli en favorit. Tänker nästan lite på Bad Brains eftersom den är såpass snabb. Sist ut är ryska Molly Fancher och Ryssland verkar vara ett bra land för horrorpunk för detta är riktigt bra. En trevlig samling där sista sidan nog är min favoritsida. 22/4-2024

A big compilation from my new record label Sick Taste Records. I start with two really good horror punk bands Scarecrow and Black Trail and I feel the adrenaline coming. Most of the bands come from Germany but there are elements of other countries like Austria, Sweden, Spain, Canada, USA, Italy and more countries. Very many of the songs are exclusive to this record and that you like as a record buyer. 27 songs is it on the record and more than half of them are exclusive to this record. The record is available in 150 copies so maybe it ́s hard to get hold of....28 Spline is a little bit different with their psychobillysound which is really fast. All the Ashes is different with their rhythmic music and it feels like if you ́re on a rave but it ́s fun when it ́s broken up a little with other music. Holy Madness is heavy and have a little bit different style. Canadian 5 cent freakshow is really wonderful with a fast song which is hard to describe and you almost don ́t have time because it ́s only 1.12. Thee Flanders is good and plays some sort of fast horrorpunk but it feels like if there ́s better things on the record. Rampires ends side A and it's a fast and heavy horrorpunksong. Blue Rockin starts side B with his psychobilly and is OK. Our Swedish contribution is Suburban Drugdealers with a Country-like sound mixed with gospel... odd. Kone Krawall klub gives side B a continued odd style with their indescribable music. Bathead is also synthbased and rhythmic and a really nice sound but maybe not really what I expected. American Grave Robber saves up side B a little bit with their choirs and really hard song Straight to hell. The New Warrings do a little bit the same style with really hard horrorpunk. Spain starts side C and that in their homelanguage and that makes it a little bit different and this is accompanied by fast and hard punk. Austrian Bzfos have a song which I really like which is some mix of psychobilly and horrorpunk in some odd way. Surfin Retards is exactly as it sounds. surf rock in a different way. Zweite Jugend have a Liss Eulenherz on their synthy song. cool anyway somehow. Dread Cabinet also have a different sound to be on this label but I was fooled by the intro because when the song starts it becomes a really nice punksong with female vocals. Damn nice song! The Twangjackets have a sound which reminds me about Cramps, B 52ś and surfmusic in the same time. Fun song! Last out on side C is Dr Geek & The Cult of men and their Love after death and it's probably the best song on side C with their nice horrropunksound. Side D starts with an acoustic but heavy song in horrpunkstyle with James Rottencorpse & The rising Dead. Really nice song. Chaneys comes from Russia and plays fast horrorpunk which is really good... Good production and a nice sound. Maybe the best song on the record? Humanoide from the Deep comes from Italy and have a fast but a little bit darker horrorpunksound. Sinnesloschen have a heavy sound and sings in german... I like that. Rod Usher does a really nice song with different speeds and that I like. Can't put this in any style The order of the fly comes from USA and their song starts so nice so I know that this will be a favorite. I almost think a bit about Bad Brains because it's so fast. Last out is Russian Molly Fancher and Russia seems to be a good country for horrorpunk because this is really good. A nice collection where the last side is probably my favorite page. 22/4-2
