Många band behöver ju lägga av eller artister brukar nästan vara tvungna att dö men här får Dead Pollys en hyllning och en tribut av 13 av sina låtar som andra band gör. Att få en tributskiva tillägnad sig måste väl vara den ultimata hyllningen. Först ut är Sugar rats med min favoritlåt Jimmie Jimmie och de har gjort till en mer rockigare låt än originalet. Clearfells säger att de är uppväxta med Dead Pollys, Clash,Ebba Grön och Cure..det är inget som hörs i den riktigt sköna lugna versionen av Summer of the madmen…Jag sörjer mina Döda Höns är den enda svensksjungande gruppen på skivan och de har översatt All the gold in the land till Allt smör i Småland. Det har blivit till en riktigt bra och tät punklåt…en av de bästa låtarna på skivan. Fankaz kommer från Italien och jag har intervjuat de för länge sedan och deras version av 94 är en riktigt snabb historia med nästan lite hardcorefeeling i vissa sångpartier. Idiots like me fick Toxic äran att få spela in och det är en låt som skiljer sig en del från de andra med mycket pratsång. Crossler från Brand New Age hade tur och ”fick” låten Strummerland och det är en bra version av en redan riktigt bra låt…det här är punk som den ska låta. Android Replica kommer från Finland och gör låten Not Alone och det har blivit tille n tidig Depeche Mode-låt.  Kauz of Affliction är lite annorlunda på spliskivan med Dead Pollys och här spelar de Two weeks to live och här är de som bäst med sin snabba punkrock. Amnesia kommer också från Italien  och Here comes the nightmare är deras bidrag till skivan och inledningsgitarren påminner mig om Bad religion och det kanske inte en helt fel beskrivning heller.  Vonnie Knows har valt Black Butterfly för att tolka på sitt vis och det gör hon verkligen med sin akustiska gitarr och vackra röst. 7Bullets gör Knock em down och det känns som om detta är låten med mest attityd på skivan. Eldinger kör en tidig låt Maxine på sitt eget lilla vis och det en ganska lugn och skön låt med mycket attityd…riktigt bra! Sist ut är engelska Floral Detectives med Smallest man alive och de mäktiga trummorna i början ger oss en riktigt bra och skön punklåt och är en riktigt värdig avslutning på en riktigt bra tributskiva.  9/6-2026

To have a tribute record dedicated to yourself must surely be the ultimate tribute. First out is Sugar rats with my favorite song Jimmie Jimmie and they have made it to a more rockier song than the original. Clearfells says that they grew up with Dead Pollys, Clash, Ebba Grön and Cure. there's nothing that can be heard in the really nice calm version of Summer of the Madmen... Jag sörjer mina Döda Höns is the only Swedish-singing group on the record and they have translated All the gold in the land to Allt smör i Småland. It has become a really good and dense punk song... One of the best songs on the record. Fankaz comes from Italy and I have interviewed them a long time ago and their version of 94 is a really fast story with almost a little hardcore feeling in some vocal parts. Idiots like me got the honor to record and it is a song that differs a lot from the others with a lot of talking vocals. Crossler from Brand New Age was lucky and "got" the song Strummerland and it's a good version of an already really good song... This is punk as it should sound. Android Replica comes from Finland and does the song Not Alone and it has become an early Depeche Mode song. Kauz of Affliction is a little bit different on the record with Dead Pollys and here they play Two weeks to live and here they are at their best with their fast punkrock. Amnesia also comes from Italy and Here comes the nightmare is their contribution to the record and the opening guitar reminds me of Bad Religion and that maybe not a completely wrong description either. Vonnie Knows has chosen Black Butterfly to interpret in her own way and she really does with her acoustic guitar and beautiful voice. 7Bullets do Knock 'em down 7Bullets do Knock em down and it feels like this is the song with the most attitude on the record. Eldinger does an early song Maxine in his own little way and it is a really calm and nice song with a lot of attitude... Really good! Last out is English Floral Detectives with Smallest man alive and the mighty drums in the beginning gives us a really good and nice punksong and is a really worthy end to a really good tribute record. 9/6-2026
