TIGERKNIFE-PRYING EYES(CD)

Detta band kommer från Rotterdam vad det verkar som och det är en femlåtars CD som de skickade mig. När man ser omslaget är det svårt att veta vilken typ av musik det kommer att vara på skivan men när man lyssnar på musiken är det ingen tvekan om vad det är för musik. För det handlar om hård och ganska långsam hardcore som nästan går over till metalcore och det är tungt…riktigt tungt. Att bli överkörd av musik är inte alltid trevligt men när man gillar den musiken man blir överkörd av är det en skön känsla och man blir verkligen det här och det kanske är tur att det bara är fem låtar. Jag kan faktiskt inte jämföra gruppen med någon annan och det är väl ganska ovanligt.Men det tyder ju också på att de har hittat sin egen hårda stil i gränslandet mellan hardcore och metal. Holländare har alltid kunnat hardcore och det visar  Tigerknife med dessa fem låtar. 6/2-2023

TIGERKNIFE-PRYING EYES(CD)

This band is from Rotterdam what it seems like and it's a five-song CD that they sent me. When you see the cover it is difficult to know what kind of music it will be on the record but when listening to the music there is no doubt what kind of music it is. Because it's about hard and rather slow hardcore that almost goes over to metalcore and it's heavy... really heavy. Being overtaken by music isn't always nice but when you like the music you get run over by, it's a nice feeling and you really get this and maybe it's lucky that it's only five songs. I can't actually compare the group to anyone else and that's pretty unusual. But it also suggests that they have found their own hard style in the borderland between hardcore and metal. Dutch people have always been capable of hardcore and it shows Tigerknife with these five songs. 6/2-2023
