THE MAY KING-SELF TITLES(CD)

Oj….här var det stökigt till en början. Jag tänker ganska snabbt både på Big Black och Birthday Party när jag hör inledningen på The May Kings skiva. Det är en så pass stökig typ av hardcoreaktig punkrock så det är väldigt svårt att sätta fingret på vad man skall kalla detta egentligen och jag tror nog att man skulle kunna säga att det är bland det stökigaste och på samma gång vackraste jag hört på länge och som sagt jag tycker nog att det är helt omöjligt att säga att detta låter så här eller så här för den här typen av musik lever ett eget liv och finns inte att placera i någon speciell genre…helt omöjligt! 16/3-2015

Oops ... .there was messy at first. I think pretty quickly both on the Big Black and Birthday Party when I hear the beginnings of The May Kings disc. It is such a messy kind of hardcore-like punk rock, so it's very hard to put your finger on what to call this really and I do think that you could say that it is among the most crowded and at the same time the most beautiful I've heard in a long time as I said I think that it is quite impossible to say that this sounds like this or like this for this type of music is living a life of their own and are not investing in any particular genre ... absolutely impossible! 16/3-2015
