THEE ULTRA BIMBOOS-FOUR FANS CAN´T BE WRONG(LP-STUPIDO RECORDS TWINLP 294)

En riktigt skön skiva det här. En ganska tillbakadragen inledning i Yellow Line där de sjunger i flera lager på något sätt och jag får nästan en shoegaze-känsla i den låten. Men efter det blir det lite mer fart i musiken och i Liar Liar kommer jag att tänka lite på den gamla sköna gruppen We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Gonna Use It och det är samma sköna sound. Gruppen fortsätter på samma vis sedan och den här typen av melodiös skön rock är svår att sätta i en genre men det kanske räcker att säga att det är bra musik och musiken gör mig på bra humör. De har lite annorlunda stil och jag tror det beror på sången av någon anledning. Absolut inget avancerat eller något nytt men det tar inte ifrån dem att det är jävligt bra och lyssna på en låt som 100% Freak så fattar ni vad jag menar och där blir det lite tuffare än annars. Thee Ultra Bimboos är en riktigt bra grupp och det skulle vara kul att få höra lite nytt med dem men det verkar inte så lovande för enligt Discogs var det sista de gjorde 2003 så vi får nog hålla tillgodo med denna skiva och de två andra Supermess och Bimboo Wizard. 2/12-2025

A really nice record this. A rather withdrawn introduction in Yellow Line where they sing in several layers in some way and I almost get a shoegaze feeling in that song. But after that it ́s a little more speed in the music and in Liar Liar I come to think a little about the old nice group We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're going to Use It and it ́s the same nice sound. The group continues in the same way then and this type of melodic nice rock is hard to put in a genre but it might be enough to say that it is good music and the music makes me in a good mood. They have a little bit of a different style and I think it depends on the vocals for some reason. Absolutely nothing advanced or anything new but it doesn ́t take away from them that it ́s damn good and listen to a song like 100% Freak so you get what I mean and there it gets a little tougher than otherwise. Thee Ultra Bimboos is a really good group and it would be fun to hear some new things with them but it doesn ́t seem so promising because according to Discogs the last thing they did was 2003 so we will have to make do with this record and the other two Supermess and Bimboo Wizard. 2/12-2025
