THE DISCORD-AN OCEAN OF FEARS(M-CD KATAKOMB RECORDS KBR06)

Frankrike har många bra band och har alltid haft. The Discord är inget undantag. De sjunger på engelska och det gör det bra. 7 låtar av ganska hård hardcore med små inslag av metal här och där. Det som slår mig är att sången är rå men den ligger långt fram i ljudbilden så det blir en typ av musik som är ganska annorlunda men inte konstig på något sätt. Eller om det är så att det är hård metal med hardcore inslag. Skitsamma för det viktiga är väl att det är bra! Och det är det verkligen och jag får som vanligt energi av den här typen av hård musik och det är inget undantag med The Discord. Många tycker kanske detta är hemsk musik och tyckr att Katakomb Records är det rätta bolaget för bandet och visst kan jag hålla med fast med undantag att jag verkligen älskar denna typ av hård och snabb musik. 2/3-2023

France has a lot of good bands and has always had. The Discord is no exception. They sing in English and that does it well. 7 songs of pretty hard hardcore with little touches of metal here and there. What strikes me is that the vocals are raw but it's way ahead in the soundscape so it becomes a type of music that's quite different but not weird in any way. Or if it's that it's hard metal with hardcore elements. because the important thing is that it's good! And it really is and I get as usual energy from this kind of hard music and it's no exception with The Discord. Many people may think this is terrible music and think that Katakomb Records is the right label for the band and certainly I can agree with the exception that I really love this kind of hard and fast music. 2/3-2023
