SVOBODNY SLOVO/STRES-333 STRIBRNYCH KOKOTU/POHLED VEN!!(LP-PAPAGAJUV HLSATEL PH 320)

Detta är en split mellan två tjeckiska band. Först ut är Svobodny Slovo och deras musik påminner mig ibland om gamla Disorder av någon anledning. Det är för att det är ett hejdlöst och anarkistiskt ös. Men inte så att man inte hör texter eller så utan texterna hörs fint och även om det sjunger på tjeckiska så hör man att de är förbannade. De må jag säga och det känns riktigt bra att lyssna till deras hårda och ibland snabba musik. Det är sammanlagt 30 låtar på 56 minuter och det är imponerande att få in allt detta på en och samma skiva. Jag gillar basen som Svobodny Slovo har och sådan basgångar är jag lite svag för. Kul också att de låter basen dominera på en del av låtarna. Stres första låt Nikdo Nevi har också en skön basgång inledningsvis och Stres har också ett sound som är väldigt snabbt. Jag älskar den här typen av punkrock som nästan går i galet tempo och Stres stresshanterar detta bra 😉 . Jag älskar också denna typ av skivor som samlar ihop gamla band och ger ut dem på fysiska utgivningar. Vill ni ha riktigt kul punk från det ”exotiska landet” och från det gyllene året 1990 så är detta skivan för dig. Men nuförtiden är inte Tjeckien så udda längre för i min samling finns många tjeckiska/slovakiska skivor tack vara detta eminenta skivbolag. 16/3-2026

This is a split between two Czech bands. First out is Svobodny Slovo and their music reminds me sometimes of old Disorder for some reason. This is because it is an unbridled and anarchic rush. But not that you don't hear lyrics or anything like that, but the lyrics are heard nicely and even if it sings in Czech you can hear that they are. I must say that and it feels really good to listen to their hard and sometimes fast music. There are a total of 30 songs in 56 minutes and it is impressive to get all this into one and the same record. I like the bass that Svobodny Slovo has and I have a weakness for bass lines like that. It's also fun that they let the bass dominate on some of the songs. Stres first song Nikdo Nevi also has a nice bass line in the beginning and Stres also has a sound which is very fast. I love this type of punkrock which almost goes in crazy tempo and Stres stress handles this well 😉. I also love this type of record that collects old tapes and releases them on physical releases. Do you want really fun punk from the "exotic country" and from the golden year 1990 so this is the record for you. But nowadays the Czech Republic is not so odd anymore because in my collection there are many Czech/Slovak records thanks to this eminent record label. 16/3-2026
