SUPERCHAINED-SYMBOLIC(CD-BITUME BCD 038)

Som jag förstår så är detta ett enmansprojekt med en kille vid namn Hugo Lanvin och det är habil rockmusik som framkallas av denna man och inledningsvis är det nästan en grungeaktig låt vid namn Born Again och vi får väl se var detta leder. Fortsätter lite på samma vis under skivan och han gör det bra tycker jag även om det inte är något nytt så är det bra spelat och jag kan tänka mig att det finns en hel del olika influenser för Hugo. Hugo är en skicklig musiker efter vad jag kan höra och jag gillar basgången som inleder New Sensation riktigt mycket. Det som slår mig att det blir lite av en egen stil över det hela och även om han spelar lite olika stilar så låter det ändå som Silverchained på något underligt vis. På 9:17 inleds låten med en Dinosaur Jr-liknande gitarr och de har verkligen ett eget Dinosaur Jr och det skulle kanske vara en saknad DJR-låt? Helt OK skiva det här och han kommer säkert att finna sina lyssnare med sin indiegrungerrock. 16/10-2025

As I understand this is a one man project with a guy named Hugo Lanvin and it is competent rock music which is developed by this man and initially it is almost a grunge-like song called Born Again and we will see where this leads. Continues a little bit in the same way during the record and he does it well I think even if it is nothing new it is well played and I can imagine that there are a lot of different influences for Hugo. Hugo is a skilled musician from what I can hear and I like the bass line that starts New Sensation really much. What strikes me is that it becomes a bit of a style of its own over the whole thing and even if he plays a little different styles it still sounds like Silverchained in some strange way. At 9:17 the song starts with a Dinosaur Jr-like guitar and they really have their own sound Dinosaur Jr and it would maybe be a missing DJR song? Quite OK record this and he will surely find his listeners with his indie grunge rock. 16/10-2025
