Rätt så svårt att
beskriva vad detta är för musik egentligen men det är i alla fall mycket
ljud på skivan. Jag vet inte varför men inledningsvis tänker jag på gamla
The Fall men det är nog för att det är mycket ljud men det känns som om man
kan sätta Spitting Image i en massa genres och på Discogs står det indierock/punk
på den här skivan och det är väl en ganska bra beskrivning. Det är fartfyllt,
kaotiskt och väldigt mycket ljud på skivan. Den korta låten Turn person är
lite mer lekfull och där tänker jag nästan på ett tuffare Pixies eller något
sådant. Inledning på Not this,
not this får mig att tänka på Public Image Ltd så ni förstår ganska fort att
detta inte är lättbeskrivet. Men punkigt är det, skramligt och distat är det
och det är skiva som tar kraft ifrån mig på ett positivt sätt. Punkig grunge
kanske är ordet för musiken…jag vet inte riktigt hur jag ska beskriva skivan
mer så ni får faktiskt lyssna själva och helst då köpa skivan! 8/5-2023

Quite difficult to
describe what kind of music this really is, but at least there is a lot of
sound on the record. I don't know why but initially I think of the old The
Fall but it's probably because there is a lot of sound but it feels like you
can put Spitting Image in a lot of genres and on Discogs it says indie rock
/ punk on this album and that's a pretty good description. It's fast-paced,
chaotic and a lot of noise on the record. The short song Turn person is a
bit more playful and there I almost think of a tougher Pixies or something
like that. The introduction to Not this, not this makes me think of Public
Image Ltd so you will understand quite quickly that this is not easily
described. But punky it is, noisy and distorted it is and it is record that
takes power away from me in a positive way. Punky grunge might be the word
for the music... I don't really know how to describe the album more so you
can actually listen yourself and preferably then buy the record! 8/5-2023
