SLINKY VAGABOND-UNDERGROUND EP(M-CD) Med medlemmar från Pistols, Bowie, Blondie osv så kan det väl inte gå fel eller. Man märker att gamla gubbar också vill spela rock n roll ganska snabbt. Men det är inga treminuters låtar längre utan det är låtar som nästan går uppemot 5 minuter och Slaves of New York är över 6 minuter. Det låter lite grand som senare Iggy Pop för att jämföra med något och det är ju inte helt fel. Det är alltså ganska tung musik med influenser både från punk och metal som är grejen för Slinky Vagabond. Jag tänker lite på Tin Machine också som Bowies grupp hette för några år sedan när han ville spela lite tuffare igen. Riktigt intressant är det i alla fall.(SJU) 2/1-08 |
SLINKY VAGABOND-UNDERGROUND EP(M-CD) With members from Pistols, Bowie, Blondie and so on it couldn´t go wrong or. You notice at once that old guys also want to play rock n roll. But it´s not any three minutes songs anymore and it´s more songs which goes up to 5 minutes and more and Slaves of New York is over 6 minutes. It sounds a little like later Iggy Pop just to compare with anything and that´s not totally wrong. It´s heavy music with influences both from punk and from metal which is the thing for Slinky Vagabond. I think a little on Tin Machine which was Bowies group some years ago when he wanted to play a little bit harder music again. Really interesting is it anyway.(SEVEN) 2/1-08 |
