En del riktigt bra punklåtar på en här skivan måste jag säga för låtar som Ty tomu veris och Deti raje håller väldigt hög klass med sina snabba punklåtar och de sjunger på tjeckiska och det är något jag verkligen uppskattar. Uppskattar också att de har översatt låtarna till engelska i textbladet. I Polnoc vidi ve tme har de ett tyngre sound som också är ganska skönt. Det känns som om Sanov I är en grupp som inte binder sig fast vid bara en stil fast de håller alla låtar inom punken. Jag har en del skivor med dem men denna från 2011 håller jag nog som deras bästa och framförallt gillar jag de snabba låtarna där de verkligen håller upp tempot på ett ypperligt sätt. Bra ljud på skivan är det också och detta är nog ett av PHR:s bästa släpp faktiskt. Jag älskar alla dessa återutgivningar som man kan få ta del av på detta sätt. Men Sanov I gör musik som verkligen ger min smak bränsle. Till och med den Rage Against the Machine-inspirerade No Jasne är en skön sak. Köp skivan om du får chansen. ½-2024

Some really good punk songs on this record, I must say, because songs like Ty tomu veris and Deti raje hold very high class with their fast punk songs and they sing in Czech and that is something I really appreciate. I also appreciate that they have translated the songs into English in the lyric sheet. In Polnoc vidi ve tme they have a heavier sound which is also really nice. It feels like if Sanov I is a group which doesn´t bind themselves to only one style even though they keep all the songs in punk. I have some records with them but this one from 2011 I hold as their best and above all I like the fast songs where they really keep up the tempo in an excellent way. Good sound quality on the record is it too and this is probably one of PHR's best release actually. I love all these reissues that you can take part in this way. But Sanov I makes music that really fuels my taste. Even the Rage Against the Machine-inspired No Jasne is a nice thing. Buy the record if you get the chance. ½-2024

SANOV I-MUSIC WAR(LP-PAPAGAJUV HLSATEL RECORDS PH 287)

Första gången denna skiva såg dagens ljus var 2006. Sanov I är lite mer experimentella än vad jag är van vid när det gäller punk från Tjeckien. Så det är inte den där vanligen punken som ofta kommer från tjeckiska band med en refräng som till och med jag kan sjunga med i trots att jag inte kan språket. Här är det en mer udda stil och som i till exempel Dokonala krava finns ett trumsound mitt i låten som överraskar och det gör hela trummandet på den låten. Men de har ändå attityd som ett punkband och det gillar jag. De låter rätt förbannade ibland och det gillar jag med…hoppas att de är det för det behövs nuförtiden. Kanske inte något för trallpukaren om man säger så utan man får vara lite mer öppen för lite annorlunda punkrock. Många vändningar i musiken både hit och dit och det gör hela skivan till en annorlunda musikupplevelse men för den delen behöver det inte att vara något negativt. Stado är min absoluta favoritlåt på skivan! 7/12-2022

SANOV I-MUSIC WAR(LP-PAPAGAJUV HLSATEL RECORDS PH 287) 

The first time this record saw the light of day was in 2006. Sanov I is a bit more experimental than what I'm used to when it comes to punk from the Czech Republic. So it's not that usually punk that often comes from Czech bands with a chorus that even I can sing along to even though I don't know the language. Here it is a more odd style and as in, for example, Dokonala krava there is a drum sound in the middle of the song that surprises and so does the whole drumming on that song. But they still have attitude as a punk band and I like that. They sound pretty angry sometimes and I like that too... Hope they are because it's needed nowadays. Maybe not something for trallpunks if you say so, but you have to be a little more open to a little different punk rock. A lot of twists and turns in the music both here and there and that makes the whole record a different musical experience but for that matter it doesn't have to be anything negative. Stado is my absolute favorite song on the record! 7/12-2022

SANOV 1-ESO55(LP-PAPAGUJEV HLSATEL PH 255)

Jag tror att denna skiva kom ut 1995 första gången men nu är den i alla fall återutsläppt utan namnet Cago Lago Magori utan här heter den bara Eso 55. Detta är en grupp som kanske inte spelar ren punk utan blandar in lite annat i sin musik, bara lyssna på Hajzl så fattar ni vad jag menar för det är en låt som känns ganska complex men med ett sound som är väldigt tätt på något sätt. Men om man istället lyssnar på Santa Claus som passar bra så här en månad för julafton så är det riktigt snabb punk som är grejen som är riktigt bra. Mycket attityd och tempo i den låten. Men kontentan är att Sanov 1 inte är en grupp som bara vill spela rak punk utan de vill gärna visa upp lite andra influenser också. Det är en skön upplevelse att höra alla influenser och jag blir riktigt imponerad att de ändå kan få ihop det till en punkig musik i slutändan. Zed är nog den mest punkiga låten på skivan och den är nog min favorit för jag får nästan lite Bad Brains-feeling på den. Men visst är det de låtar som är mest punkiga och snabba som jag fastnar för och en riktigt bra låt är Prasata….Kolla in Sanov 1 om ni vill ha en punkgrupp som inte är som alla andra men ändå mer punk än de flesta grupper! 25/11-2021

SANOV 1-ESO55(LP-PAPAGUJEV HLSATEL PH 255)

I think this record came out in 1995 for the first time, but now it's at least re-released without the name Cago Lago Magori, but here it's just called Eso 55. This is a group that may not play pure punk but mixes a little else into their music, just listen to Hajzl and then you know what I mean because it is a song that feels quite complex but with a sound that is very tight in some way. But if you instead listen to Santa Claus that fits well like this a month before Christmas Eve, it's really fast punk that's the thing that's really good. A lot of attitude and tempo in that song. But the bottom line is that Sanov 1 is not a group that just wants to play straight punk, but they want to show off some other influences as well. It's a nice experience to hear all the influences and I'm really impressed that they can still get it together into a punky music in the end. Zed is probably the most punky song on the record and it's probably my favorite because I almost get a little Bad Brains feeling on it. But surely it's the songs that are most punky and fast that I get stuck with and a really good song is Prasata....Check out Sanov 1 if you want a punk group that is not like everyone else but still more punk than most groups! 25/11-2021

SANOV 1-OSMA RENESANCE(CD-PHR RECORDS PH 209)

Oj….här går det fort. Ganska galen hardcore faktiskt med en sångare som verkligen skriker ut sitt hat. Gruppen spelar fort som bara den men det är tur att de lugnar ner sin musik då och då. För egentligen så blir det riktigt kul med denna tjeckiska punk som verkligen visar ilska och förbannade själar. Skulle vara kul att höra vad sista låten handlar om(Facebook) eller rättare sagt vad den handlar om förstår man väl men mer utförligt. Kanske inte världens mest välspelade hardcore och det är nästan på gränsen till grind ibland  men att de har känsla för vad de gör kan man inte ta ifrån dem i alla fall. Sanov 1 är onda, arga och de finns på riktigt. Hade kanske uppskattat om de hade dragit ner på tempot lite och fått till lite bättre melodier men ilskan är det inget fel på! 17/1-2017

SANOV 1-OSMA RENESANCE(CD-PHR RECORDS PH 209)

Oops ... .this is really fast. Pretty crazy hardcore actually a singer that really scream out hatred. The group plays fast as hell but it's lucky they calm down their music sometimes and then. Because really it becomes really fun with this Czech punk that really show anger and damned souls. Would be great to hear what the last song is about Facebook or, rather, what it is about you understand well but more in detail. Maybe not the most well played hardcore and it is almost on the verge of grind but sometimes they have a feel for what they do can not be taken away from them anyway. Sanov 1 is evil, angry, and they are for real. Had perhaps appreciated if they had pulled down the pace a bit and got some better melodies, but the anger is nothing wrong on! 17/1-2017

SANOV 1-ON THE SHIT(PHR RECORDS PH 208)

Jag tror och hoppas att detta blir bättre än förra singeln med ett annat band på bolaget. Jag behöver inte vara orolig länge för SANOV 1 ger mig det jag vill ha och helt klart är det ösig punk som är grejen för SANOV och det gillar jag. Sångaren har en annorlunda röst som gör att sången påminner mig om en blandning av Pistols och 999 och allt detta på tjeckiska så då förstår ni att det kan bli bra. De 12 låtarna håller den kvalité som man är van vid när det gäller tjeckisk punk och jag blir nöjd som bara den när jag lyssnar på detta för jag känner att jag ler med hela ansiktet och jag blir ännu gladare när jag ser att det ändå är 24 år sedan det spelades in. 10/12-2016

SANOV 1-ON THE SHIT(PHR RECORDS PH 208)

I believe and hope that this will be better than last single with another band on the company. I do not need to be worried so long because SANOV 1 gives me what I want, and clearly it is fast punk is the thing SANOV do and I like that. The singer has a different voice makes the song reminds me of a mix of Pistols and 999 and all this in Czech so then you will understand that it can be good. The 12 songs are the quality that you are used to when it comes to Czech punk and I will be satisfied only that when I listen to this because I feel that I smile on my face and I'll be even happier when I see that it is still 24 years ago as it was recorded. 10/12-2016

Tjeckisk punk…smaka på ordet….det är mycket bra tjeckisk punk som vandrar omkring här i världen och det här bolaget hjälper till att sprida dessa band över världen. Tre stycken är de i bandet och det är alltid intressant och se vad “bara” tre man kan göra för ett band så här. Börjar lite skumt men när skivan kommer igång så är det som vanligt intressant punk när det kommer från tjeckiska band. Det går ganska fort och här har de till och med översatt texterna till engelska så det är ju inte fel för då får man en bättre bild av vad de sjunger om. Svårt att jämföra med något annat band men bra är det i alla fall. 16/9-2011

Czech punk…taste the words….it´s a lot of good Czech punk which is going on in the world and the label helps out to spread these bands around the world. Three men is it in this band and it´s always interesting to see what “only” three men can do with a band like these. Starts out a little bit odd but when the record is on so is it as usual interesting punk when it comes from the Czech republic. It goes really fast and here have they even translated the lyrics to English and that isn´t wrong because then you get a better clue about what they´re singing about. It´s hard to describe with anything else but good is it anyway. 16/9-2011
