ROLLSTONS-TAPING TREES(CD-STUPIDO TWINS TWINCD 71) Är det någon som minns alla grupper på West Side Fabr? Det känns som om Rollstons gör det i alla fall. Samma poppiga inställning är det på denna finska grupp. De gör en ganska lekfull musik i samma anda som XTC ibland. För att i nästa låt ha ett helt annorlunda sound men ändå spela popmusik. Så det känns som en ganska uppfräschande stund att lyssna till Rollstons för om alla popband lät såhär skulle det vara mycket roligare med pop än vad det är. Indiepop, poppop, rockpop , kalla det vad ni vill, i alla fall spelar Rollstons en trevlig musik som passa bra på morgonkvisten. Vitamin D är en låt som Cure skulle kunna döda för, den påminner on Jumping on Someone elses train.(SEX) 29/9-04 |

The same poppy style is it on the finnish group. They do really playful music in the same spirit as XTC sometimes. But in the next song they have a different sound but anyway it´s popmusic. So this feels really refreshing time to listen to Rollstons because if all popbands sounded this way so had it been so much more fun with popmusic than it is. Indiepop, poppop, rockpop, call it what you want, anyway plays rollstons a nice style of music which could suit really well in the morning like this. ROLLSTONS-OUR GRAIN COULD FILL YOUR STADIUM(CD-STUPIDO TWINS TWINCD 60) Jag vet inte var jag har hört det hört det här bandnamnet förut men jag tycker det låter bekant på något sätt. Rollstons är ett band som nästan skulle passa in på ett svenskt bolag som West Side Fabr eller NONS för att ha något säga. För det är lite av samma melodier och samma lite lekfulla stil när Rollstons sätter igång och spelar musik. Indie är väl ett ord som passar in ypperligt på denna grupp och helt klart vill jag hylla gruppen för det de gör. Grupper som Weezer och Cure är säkert grupper som har påverkat de musikaliskt när de en gång valde sin musikaliska väg.(SJU) 20/10-03 |

Rollstons is a band which could suit in on Swedish labels as West Side Fabr or NONS to have something to say. Because it´s the same type of melodies and the same playful style when Rollstons going on and play their music. Indie is a word which suits in really good on this group and of course I want to take the group really high for the things they do. Groups like Weezer and Cure is surely groups who have influenced them musically when they once choosed their musical way.(SEVEN) 20/10-03 |
