Jag tror att
gruppen är tysk men att de sjunger på engelska och det är ju synd tycker jag
som ni vet älskar tysksjungen punkrock. Men jag älskar verkligen grupper som
sjunger om sin kärlek till punkrock och det är många gånger kanske
nostaliska texter men jag förstår och kommer ihåg känslan när man var en ung
punkare och det fanns ingen morgondag. Det vet man ju att det finns idag
även om man kallar sig punkare vid 57 års ålder. Lyssna på låtarna
Invincible och Simple Melodies så förstår ni vad jag mnera. Roadblocks har
låtar som fastnar med en gång och visst påminner de andra band och bland
influenserna finns Rancid, ett tuffare Floggin Molly etc etc men det är
skitsamma för de har fått ihop det till en enhet av sällan skådat slag och
jag gillar verkligen denna skiva. Troubled Times blir för mig untroubled
times för mig när jag lyssnar på den. Finns bara glädje och party när jag
lyssnar på Roadblocks. Så varför inte ge gruppen en chans för de andas punk
i det mesta de gör…2/9-2020

I think the
group is German but that they sing in English and it's a shame I think as
you know love German sung punk rock. But I really love groups that sing
about their love of punk rock and many times it may be nostalgic lyrics but
I understand and remember the feeling when you were a young punk and there
was no tomorrow. You know that it exists today even if you call yourself a
punk at the age of 57. Listen to the songs Invincible and Simple Melodies
and you will understand what I mean. Roadblocks have songs that get stuck
right away and certainly reminds me of the other bands and among the
influences are Rancid, a tougher Floggin Molly etc etc but it's not
important because they have put it together into a unit of a rarely seen
kind and I really love this record. Troubled Times becomes for me untroubled
times for me when I listen to it. There is only joy and party when I listen
to Roadblocks. So why not give the group a chance for the breath of punk is
in the most of the time they do their thing… 2/9-2020
