PROFESSIONAL AGAINSTERS-KILL A PUNK FOR ROCK N ROLL(LP-CIMEX RECORDS)

Ett av Göteborgs bästa band just nu? I alla fall är det musik som tilltalar mig riktigt mycket och framförallt känns det som sommarmusik som verkligen tilltalar mig. Tänk er tillbaka till band som Full Metal Jacketz och deras debut-LP, Psychotic Youth och den typen av punkig rock n roll och jag bara njuter när jag hör skivan. Mycket attityd och det kanske inte är låttitlar som får mig att tänka politiskt utan mer att man vill festa till musiken eller vad sags om låttitlar som I´m gonna get laid, Not all the habits are bad, If the kids don´t hate it it ain´t rock n roll men även en låt som heter Bolans Crash och jag vet inte om den handlar om Marc Bolans bilolycka. Men jag tror kanske inte texterna är det viktigaste för gruppen utan här handlar det om att spela musik som är tilltalande och ha fest när de spelar och jag tycker att de lyckas ypperligt med det! Kanske en kandidat till en av årets skivor känns det som.Låtarna varierar mellan 1.17 och det finns bara två låtar som går över 3 minuter och jag gilalr det tänket. Här finns inga utdragna solon och annan skit som tar tid och plats utan här är det bara raka rör som gäller. 23/6-2022

One of Gothenburg's best bands right now? In any case, it's music that appeals to me a lot and above all, it feels like summer music that really appeals to me. Think back to bands like Full Metal Jacketz and their debut LP, Psychotic Youth and that kind of punky rock n roll and I just enjoy it when I hear the record. A lot of attitude and it may not be song titles that make me think politically but more that you want to party to the music or what is said about song titles like I'm going to get laid, Not all the habits are bad, If the kids don't hate it it ain't rock n roll but also a song called Bolans Crash and I don't know if it's about Marc Bolan's car accident. But I don't think maybe the lyrics are the most important thing for the group, but here it's about playing music that is appealing and having a party when they play and I think they succeed superbly with that! Maybe a candidate for one of this year's records, it feels like. The songs vary between 1.17 and there are only two songs that go over 3 minutes and I like that thinking. Here there are no drawn-out solos and other shit that takes time and space, but here it is only straight pipes which is the thing. 23/6-2022

Charlie från Anticimex fortsätter sitt skivutgivande och denna gång med ett band från den göteborska skärgården. Jag har något med de sedan tidigare men kommer faktiskt inte riktigt ihåg hur de låter. De verkar gilla att festa alla fall för många av låtarna har titlar som I got beer, Need a drink, I just wanna go to the pub, Lack of Beer men de 21 låtarna ä ren trevlig upplevelse. Det är punkrock och detta med en Ramones, Sator-liknande stil och det känns verkligen som musik som passar på en fest och med en massa festande. Tyvärr får vi väl vänta med detta festande ihop med gruppen några månader till med tanke på covid men sedan kan jag tänke mig att det skulle kunna bli en rikrigt bra fest ihop med gruppen. Men musiken gör mig riktigt glad och helst nu när man sitter I karantän själv med ett positivt covid-svar så hjälper det mig att bli lite gladare och Professional Againsters uppgift är nog att glädja folk! 16/11-2020

Charlie from Anticimex continues his record release and this time with a band from the Gothenburg archipelago. I have something with them since before but actually do not really remember how they sound. They seem to like to party anyway because many of the songs have titles like I got beer, Need a drink, I just wanna go to the pub, Lack of Beer but the 21 songs are a nice experience. It's punk rock and this with a Ramones, Sator-like style and it really feels like music that suits a party and with a lot of partying. Unfortunately we will have to wait with this party together with the group for a few more months considering covid but then I can imagine that it could be a really good party together with the group. But the music makes me really happy and preferably now when you are in quarantine yourself with a positive covid response, it helps me to be a little happier and Professional Againster's task is enough to make people happy! 16/11-2020
