PEPPER-LONA TOWN (CD-VOLCOM ENTERTAINMENT 896 401 222-2) Bilden inuti där de försöker komma in i tvättmaskinen är riktigt rolig tycker jag. Pepper har jag aldrig hört förut och jag tycker de verkar var en intressant grupp. Helst då i början när de spelar reggae som den värste Bob Marley och på den vägen är det. Det är inte ofta man ser vita musiker spela reggae så pass bra och i några av låtarna påminner de mig faktiskt om The Police för de blandar in rock på ett sådant vis i sin svängiga musik. Efter några låtar får de in mer och mer rock i sin musik och det blir riktigt tufft. Det är såhär som reggaeinfluerad musik skall låta tycker jag. Men det stora flertalet av låtarna ligger djupt rotade i reggaes förtrollade värld.(SJU) 11/8-03 |

Pepper have I never heard before and they seems to be a really interesting group. In the beginning of the record they play reggae as the worst Bob Marley and on that way it is. It´s not so often that you see white musicans who plays reggae that good and in some of the songs they mix in rock in their music in that way so they remind me a little about Police. After some songs they got more rock into their music and then it´s really tough, It´s like this reggaeinfluenced music should sound. But the most of the songs is more down to the reggae I think and that´s a amazing world.((SEVEN) 11/8-03 |
