PAPER ARMS-GREAT MISTAKES(CD-UNCLE M)

Paper Arms startar sin skiva med en ganska distad gitarr och sedan går de över till någon slags emocore av det gamla slaget. Jag menar inte band som Bullet for my Valentine och den typen utan mer då de banden lät som om de hade slagit ihop indie och punk på ett sätt som grupper som Husker Du och Dinosaur Jr var först med egentligen. Distade gitarrer, mycket melodier men kanske inte så mycket tempo. Lite släpigt sådär men ack så bra! Visst finns det låtar som går lite snabbare som You don´t speak for me(i alla fall ett stund i låten) men det viktigaste för Paper Arms är attityden och känslan känns det som och känslor har de en hel del! 26/6-2015

Paper Arms starts his album with a rather distorted guitar and then they go on to some kind of emocore of the old type. I do not mean bands like Bullet For My Valentine and such, but more as the bands sounded as if they had merged indie and punk in a way that groups like Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr. was first thought. Distorted guitars, much melodies but maybe not so much pace. A little drawling like that but oh so good! Sure, there are songs that go a little faster as You don't speak for me (at least a moment in the song) but the most important for Paper Arms is the attitude and the feeling feels like and the feelings they have a lot! 26/6-2015
