OPETH-THE ROUNDHOUSE TAPES(2 CD PEACEVILLE CDVILE209XP/PLAYGROUND) Svenska Opeth spelar death metal men på ett mer nyanserat sätt tycker jag nog. Jag skulle inte kunna tänka mig att jag skulle gilla en deathmetalplatta som är inspelad live men det gjorde jag. 9 låtar på en dubbel CD säger väl det mesta också om längden på låtarna. Svårt att jämföra med något egentligen men skulle man mixa Rush tillsammans med Entombed kanske det skulle kunna bli så här. Riktigt vackert ibland i de lugna partierna och det kanske är svårt att tänka sig med tanke på att det är ett deathmetalband. Ett extra plus till det smakfulla omslaget.(SJU) 9/11-07 |

I shouldn’t thought that I could like a deathmetalrecord which is recorded live but I did that. 9 songs on a double CD says the most about the length on the songs, It´s hard to describe and compare their music with anyone else but should you mix Rush with Entombed it could maybe sounds like this , I don´t know. Really beautiful sometimes in the calm parties and it´s maybe hard to believe that it could be beautiful when we think about that this is a deathmetalband.
