NEGATIVE SELF-CONTROL THE FEAR(CD-BDHW RECORDS BDHW072/GORDEON)

Den här gruppen är tydligen svensk och jag har aldrig hört talas om dem innan…De beskrivs som en crossover och jag förstår det när jag hör dem. För det ska ha rötter i hardcore kanske men jag tycker nog att de mer går over till metal och då en ganska svårbeskriven sådan faktiskt och mycket av detta beror på sångaren Andy som sjunger på ett annorlunda sätt än vad vi är vana vid när det gäller den här typen av tuff musik och detta gör att Negative Self verkligen skiljer sig från andra band tycker jag. Låter nästan lite kliniskt ibland och det är inte distat som andra grupper i samma genre, vilken nu genren är? En trevlig upplevelse i alla fall i gränslandet mellan många olika hårda musikstilar. 2/3-2018

This group is apparently Swedish and I have never heard of them before ... They are described as a crossover and I understand it when I hear them. Because it should have roots in hardcore maybe, but I think they are more likely to go to metal and then a rather hard-to-descibe one actually and much of this depends on the singer Andy singing in a different way than we are used to when it comes to it this kind of tough music and this makes the Negative Self really different from other bands I think. Sounds almost a bit of a clinical sometimes, and it's not distorted like other groups in the same genre, what now the genre is? A nice experience at least in the border between many different hard music styles. 2/3-2018
