MOLLOTOV ATTACK/ARTIGO DZ9-SPLIT(NOISE MESMO RECORDS MM)

Min gode vän Wagner från Brasilien sände mig sin grupp Mollotov Attacks nya splitskiva tillsammans med Artigo DZ9? Och det är jag tacksam för. De kör 7 låtar var och detta på portugisiska. Brasiliansk hardcore har ju funnits så länge och har alltid hållit hög klass och det gör verkligen Mollotov Attack också. För deras musik är både snabb och hård och när de växlar med sången inledningsvis så blir det riktigt skönt. Jag har kanske svårt att jämföra med något annat band men är ni fan av gammal brasiliansk hardcore så tror jag verkligen ni kommer att gilla detta också. De har faktiskt en stil som är lite egen och jag tror att det beror på trummisen som verkligen bankar hårt och hörs mycket. Även basen har ett skönt och udda sound och gitarrsolona är inte som andra men allt känns riktigt bra! Artigo DZ9! Har ett lite lugnare sound men de ligger inom hardcorefacket men de är inte lika snabba i sin musik som sina splitkompisar Mollotov Attack. Men det låter bra om den här gruppen också och jag tror inte ni blir besvikna om ni gillar hardcore med lite mer punkrockinslag i och gör ni inte det så får ni fanimej lära er att gilla det…. 29/1-2025

MOLLOTOV ATTACK/ARTIGO DZ9-SPLIT(NOISE MESMO RECORDS MM)

My good friend Wagner from Brazil sent me his group Mollotov Attack's new split record together with Artigo DZ9? And I'm grateful for that. They do 7 songs each and this in Portuguese. Brazilian hardcore has been around for so long and has always been high class and so does Mollotov Attack. Because their music is both fast and hard and when they mix with vocalists in the beginning it becomes really nice. I have a hard time comparing with any other band but if you are a fan of old Brazilian hardcore I really think you will like this too. They actually have a style that is a little bit of their own and I think it is because of the drummer who really bangs hard and is heard a lot. Even the bass has a nice and odd sound and the guitar solos are not like others but everything feels really good! Artigo DZ9! Have a little calmer sound but they are in the hardcore category but they are not as fast in their music as their split mates Mollotov Attack. But it sounds good about this group too and I don ́t think you will be disappointed if you like hardcore with a little more punkrockelements in it and if you don ́t you will learn to like it.... 29/1-2025

Wagner från Mollotov Attack skickade mig denna skiva plus en del andra brasilianska skivor och jag är honom evigt tacksam för detta. Detta är hans egen grupp och de spelar en typ av hardcore som känns ganska typiskt brasilianskt på något sätt. Visst finns här influenser från metal också och även där har ju Brasilien stolta traditioner. Jag kan ju inte portugisiska så jag har svårt att återge vad de sjunger om men jag tror att de är arga. De ser tuffa ut på bilderna i skivan så jag förutsätter att det är texter med allvarlig mening och en grupp som jag faktiskt tänker på när jag ser och hör dem är Suicidal Tendencies och det är en känsla som känns rätt.  Jag älskar musik från andra länder och även om Brasilien inte är så exotiskt egentligen så känns detta stort att fa ta del i! 21/12-2017

Wagner from Mollotov Attack sent me this disc plus some other Brazilian albums and I am forever grateful for this. This is his own group and they play a kind of hardcore that feels quite typical Brazilian in some way. Certainly there are influences from metal as well, and even there, Brazil has proud traditions. I do not know Portuguese so I have difficulty reproducing what they are singing about but I think they are angry. They look tough on the pictures in the record so I assume that there are texts with serious meaning and a group that I actually think of when I see and hear them are Suicidal Tendencies and it's a feeling that feels right. I love music from other countries and although Brazil is not so exotic really, it feels great to get involved! 21/12-2017

7 låtar med aggressiv hardcore är väl inte så dumt så här på morgonen så att man hittar in i livet. Det är snygga basgångar i Traidor och det gillar jag. Jag var nog basist i mitt förra liv för jag är svag för sådana saker. Snabbspelande basister som tar lite plats alltså. Helt klart är det i alla fall så att denna grupp är förbannad och aggressiv och det är ju självklart ingredienser som är viktiga i hardcore och det har Molotov Attack verkligen anammat. Jag skulle nog vilja säga att när grupper från länder med ännu större problem än vi har spelar den här typen av musik så känns det mer än äkta! 20/11-2015

7 songs with aggressive hardcore are not so stupid as here in the morning so that you can find in life. There are fancy bass lines in Traidor and I like that. I guess I was the bass player in my last life, I have a weakness for such things. Quikcplaying bassists who take a little space, that is. Clearly, it is in any case so that this group is angry and aggressive and it's obvious ingredients that are essential in hardcore, and it has the Molotov Attack truly embraced. I would say that when groups comes from countries with even bigger problems than we have been playing this kind of music so does it feels more than real! 20/11-2015
