METEORS-MONKEY´S BREATH(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 50) Ännu en Meteors skiva i samlingen och som vanligt är det inget nytt som ges oss precis när det gäller musiken. Samma gamla psychobilly som de alltid har spelat. I och för sig tycker jag nog att detta är en av Meteors bättre skivor och jag tycker att de har ett bättre sound på den här men jag tror det kanske beror lite på vilket humör man är på när man lyssnar på gruppen hur mycket man uppskattar detta. Idag är jag lite deppad efter mitt lags förlust igår och Meteors musik fungerar faktiskt som en glädjespridare. Kolla in denna om ni skall kolla någon skiva med Meteors(SEX) 22/8-06

METEORS-MONKEY´S BREATH(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 50) Another record with Misfits in my collection and asusual is it nothing new which is given to us when we talk about the music. Same old psychobilly which they always have played. But I think this one of the better records they have done and I think they have a better sound on this but I think that it depends in which mood you´re in when you listens to the group and how much you appreciate it. But today I´m a little bit depressed after the fact that my team lost yesterday and the Meteors music is giving me hope in some way. METEORS-STAMPEDE(CD-ANAGRAM CDMPSYCHO 43) Meteors hundrade skiva som kommer hem till mig. Nja , inte riktigt denna är deras tredje skiva och den kom ut 1985 men återutges alltså nu. Som vanligt när man får en skiva med Meteors nuförtiden så har man hört det förut. Visst finns det guldkorn här som deras cover på Lil red riding hood och deras låt Michael Myers för att nämna något men jag anser och tror att Meteors helst ska avnjutas live.(FEM) 16/3-06

METEORS-STAMPEDE(CD-ANAGRAM CDMPSYCHO 43) Meteors hundred record which comes home to me. No, not really but this is their third record and it came out 1985 but is re-released now. As usual when you get a record with Meteors nowadays so have you heard it before. Sure there´s some songs here which is good as their cover on Lil red riding hood and their song Michael Myers to mention some but I think that Meteors is best live.(FIVE) 16/3-06

METEORS-THE BANG BAG FRUIT(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 38) Go Buddy Go, Repoman är några av coverlåtarna på skivan och det är då Meteors är som bäst egentligen. När de tar lite punkigare låtar och gör sin rockabilly av detta. För annars är jag nästan lite trött på deras skivor nu för det känns lite som om man har hört en skiva så har man hört alla. Men hur det än är så känns denna skiva som en av deras bästa skivor i alla fall och skall ni köpa någon Meteors skiva så köp denna.(SEX) 2/11-05

METEORS-THE BANG BAG FRUIT(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 38) Go Buddy Go, Repoman is some of the coversongs on the record and that is when they do covers they´re at their ebst. When they take some punkier stuff and do their rockabilly of it. Because I´m a little bit tired of their records otherwise and when you have heard one record with them you have heard everything. But anyway is this record among their best ones and shall you buy any record with Meteors, please buy this.(SIX) 2/11-05

METEORS-SEWERTIME BLUES(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PYSCHO 37) Ja, ni vet kanske hur Meteors låter nu men jag skall väl saga som det med en gång, jag börjar bli lite trött på dem för har man hört en skiva så har man hört det mesta känns det som. Visst finns det några bra låtar här som Surf City och Vibrate och det är oftast coverversionerna som sticker ut mest och låter roligast. Jag låter kanske grinig men som sagt man har hört det förr även om Meteors är det enda riktiga psychobillybandet som de själva uttrycker det.(SEX) 22/8-05

METEORS-SEWERTIME BLUES(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PYSCHO 37) Yeah, you know how Meteors sound now and I will say it at once, I´m getting a little bit tired of how they sound because have you heard some songs with them you soon know how they will sound but here is some good songs like Surf City and Vibrate and it´s often so that the coverversions is the one who sticks out the most and sounds most fun. I´m sounda little bit boring now maybe but we have heard this before even if Meteors is the only pure rockabillyband as they say themselves(SIX) 22/8-05

METEORS-IN HEAVEN(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 36) Denna skiva kom från början ut 1981 men nu har den återutgivits av Anagram Records. Pysychobilly vet väl alla att detta kallas och det är en ganska bra beskrivning på det här egentligen. 15 låtar ren och pur rockbilly med ett sound som Meteors bara kan ha. Jag är inte så förtjust i så många andra band i genren precis men Meteors har punknerven någonstans och det gillar jag. Den här skivan har 24 år på nacken men den känns ganska fräsch ändå. Det är bara att investera, inget annat att göra.(SEX) 21/3-05

METEORS-IN HEAVEN(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 36) This record came out in 1981 but it have been reissued by Anagram records now. Psychobilly everybody know that this is called and it´s a really good desription on this. 15 songs och pure rockabilly with a sound that only Meteors have. I´m not so found of so many other bands in the same style but Meteors have the punknerve somewhere and that I really like. This record have 24 years on it´s conscious but it feels really fresh anyway. It´s only to invest, nothing else to do.(SIX) 21/3-05

METEORS-THESE EVIL THINGS(CD-I USED TO FUCK PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN PRISON PRISON 086-2/BORDER) Meteors kämpar oförtrutet vidare och det gör de bra. Jag tror nästan att de har gjort en av sina bästa skivor i och med denna These evil Things. Deras psychobilly är superb och att de är det enda originalet , det är något jag är böjd att hålla med om. För deras punkiga rockabilly låter inte trött utan det känns som om de fått en nytändning på något sätt. Melodierna sitter där som de ska och gitarrsolona lika väl. Så det känns kul att lyssna på Meteors nya skiva och man känner ryckningarna i benet, släng dig i väggen Jerry Williams. Kolla bara in versionen på Breaking the Law. Grymt bra.(SJU) 15/10-04

METEORS-THESE EVIL THINGS(CD-I USED TO FUCK PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN PRISON PRISON 086-2/BORDER) Meteors struggles on and they do it good. I think almost they have done one of their best records with this new one These Evil Things. Their psychobilly is superb and that they´re the only original seems to be right now. Because their punky rockabilly doesn´t seem tired because it feels like if they have got a new energy to do their music. The melodies is in the right place and the guitarsolos as well. So it feels fun to listen to Meteors new record and you can really feel it in your legs, throw yourself in the wall, Jerry Williams. Only listen to the version of Breaking the Law, really good.(SEVEN) 15/10-04

METEORS-THE METEORS VS THE WORLD(2CD ANAGRAM CDGRAM 123) En dubbel CD med psychobillypionjärerna Meteors , hur kan det låta. Snabbt tempo, dunkande trummor och en hes röst ackompanjerat av en bas som bara dunkar fram ackorden. Jag har alltid gillat Meteors och deras sätt att knyta ihop 50 tal med 70-tal och denna skiva är inget undantag men nästan 2 timmar med deras musik kan bli lite påfrestande. Men visst svänger det och ibland är de instrumentala låtarna som Die World nästan goare att lyssna till och då gillar jag inte instrumentalmusik. These boots are made for walking är en av coverlåtarna som finns med och den bästa låttiteln på skivan måste vara Michael Myers(Still in shape). Kolla in denna dubbel om ni vill ha riktigt psychobilly för det kan Meteors i alla fall.(SEX) 17/6-04

METEORS-THE METEORS VS THE WORLD(2CD ANAGRAM CDGRAM 123) A double CD with the psychobillyspioneers Meteors, how can that sound. Fast tempo , drums which is good and a sore throat which is accompanied of a bass which really comes foreward good. I have always liked Meteors and their way to mix 50´s music with 70´s music and this record isn´t anything badder than other records but 2 hours of their music can be too much. But it swings but sometimes it´s almost nicer to listen to the instrumental songs like Die World and then I don´t like instrumentalmusic. These Boots are made for walking is on of the coversongs which is here and the best songtitle mus be Michael Myers(Still in shape). Check this double out if you want real psychobilly because that can Meteors anyway.(SIX) 17/6-04

METEORS-HELL IN THE PACIFIC(CD-ANAGRAM CDMSPYCHO 30) Den här gruppen kämpar då på. Detta är en liveinspelning från Japan och det är fullt ställ hela tiden. 17 låtar där egna och covers som Lil red riding Hood, Rawhide, Domino och Get off My Cloud förgyller en timme med gruppen framför min stereo. Det är inspelat i augusti 2003 och att det finns så många psychobilly diggare där borta. Ljudet är väl lite grötigt och det är ju lite konstigt med tanke på dagens inspelningsteknik men tydligen var detta inspelat på ett minimalt sätt och påd etta sättet får man mer närvarokänlsa när man lyssnar på det.(SEX) 9/3-04

METEORS-HELL IN THE PACIFIC(CD-ANAGRAM CDMSPYCHO 30)This group is fighting on. This is a liverecording from Japan and it never goes down in tempo. 17 songs where own and covers as Lil red riding Hood, Rawhide, Domino and Get off My Cloud makes an hour with them as a really nice time. It´s recorded in august 2003 and that it is so many psychobilly fans out there in Japan. The sound isn´t so good and that´s a little strange if you think about the recording things we have today but this is obliviously recorded in a minimal way and in this way you get a prescencefeeling when you listen to it.(SIX) 9/3-04

METEORS LIVE III-LIVE STYLES OF THE SICK AND SHAMELESS(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 023) Meteors live verkar vara en intensiv upplevelse och det verkar som om adrenalinet flödar. Här får vi 19 låtar av skilda slag men det mest ligga inom psychobilly stilen. Många covers är det men det är inte vilka som helst utan These Boots are made for walkin, Lil red Riding hood och Wild Thing. Det är inget fel på deras egna låtar heller men problemet är att ljudet är lite dåligt tycker jag. Kolla in detta i vilket fall(SJU) 5/12-01

METEORS LIVE III-LIVE STYLES OF THE SICK AND SHAMELESS(CD-ANAGRAM CDM PSYCHO 023) Meteors live seems to be an intensive experience and it seems like the adrenaline floats. Here we get 19 songs which is different to each other but the most stuff is in the psychobillystyle.Many covers we get and among those are good versions of These Boots are made for walkin, Lil red Riding hood and Wild Thing. And there isn´t anything wrong with their own songs but the problem is that the sound is a little bit poor. Please check this out anyway(SEVEN) 5/12-01

METEORS-PSYCHODOWN (CD-ANAGRAM CD GRAM 45) En ny skiva med Meteors som för första gången visade sig som grupp för 20 år sedan. De började som ett rockabillyband och de fortsätter i samma stil här 20 år senare men jag tycker faktiskt att det finns lite grand av tidiga Disneyland After Dark på denna skiva. Det är lite countrypunk på ett trevligt sätt. de har självklart inte hoppat av sin rockabilly men helt klart finns här andra influenser än förr. Jag måste ge dem en eloge för att de orkar med sin musik för de kan ju inte sälja i massor precis. Det är en ganska udda församling som gillar denna grupp kan jag tänka mig.(SJU) 16/11-01

METEORS-PSYCHODOWN (CD-ANAGRAM CD GRAM 45) A new record with Meteors which was showing up their faces the first time in 1981 and here they continue with the smae rockabillystyle 20 years later. But ehre I can hear some influences from the early Disneyland After Dark and then I mean a little bit of countrypunk. So you understand that there is some other influences than we´re used to ehar. I must give them roses beacause of the fact that they have the guts to continue to play this sort of music even if they cannot sell much records. I can think that thier audience is a really odd bunch of people(SEVEN) 16/11-01
