MAUD LINDSTRÖM-DU FÅR GÅ(LP-TROGLODYT TROG052)

Det har gått 20,år sedan jag hörde något från Maud men det gäller inte att slita ut sina lyssnare. Nästan lite Jakob Hellman-feeling på just det argumentet. Nu till de sju låtarna…det är ju som vanligt en Singer/songwriterstil i hennes musik. Jag gillar det och skivan inleds med en låt med lite annorlunda text. Överens handlar om ett par som faktiskt är …överens. Lite udda för det brukar mest vara olyckliga förhållanden i låtar som sjungs. Annars är det texter som berör mig på lite annorlunda sätt och Maud är inte som alla andra, i alla fall inte textmässigt. Jag skulle nog säga att det är med varm hand jag tar emot Mauds nya skiva för det är musik som alla borde vilja lyssna på. Det är lite synd att det bara är sju låtar efter såpass lång tid men det är hög kvalité på de vi får. Så har ni aldrig hört Maud och hennes underfundiga texter så har ni något nytt att upptäcka för ni kommer inte att bli besvikna kan jag tänka mig. För Maud är inte som någon annan. 22/9-2025

It's been 20 years since I heard anything from Maud but it's not about wearing out your listeners. Almost a bit of a Jakob Hellman feeling on that particular argument. Now for the seven songs... it's as usual a Singer/songwriter style in her music. I like it and the album starts with a song with a little different lyrics. Överens(Agree) is about a couple who are actually ... agreed. A bit odd because it's usually mostly unhappy conditions in songs that are sung. Otherwise, it's lyrics that touch me in a slightly different way and Maud is not like everyone else, at least not lyrically. I would probably say that it is with a warm hand that I receive Maud's new record because it is music that everyone should want to listen to. It's a bit of a shame that it's only seven songs after such a long time but it's high quality on the ones we get. So if you have never heard Maud and her subtle lyrics you have something new to discover because you will not be disappointed I can imagine. Because Maud is not like anyone else. 22/9-2025

Fantastisk skiva men det är frågan om hon till exempel blir större än Laleh för hennes texter behandlar hennes bisexualitet och det är mycket texter om sex och förhållanden och sådant får man kanske inte skriva om.  Hennes alter ego Fröken Normal verkar ha ett ganska trevligt liv annars och det visar sig ganska snabbt i texterna. Hon har inte långt upp till de stora vissångarna och jag skulle inte bli överraskad om hon snart spelade inför mycket större publik än hon gör idag. Jag skulle kunna dra paralleller till min favoritskiva med Lars Winnerbäck Rusningstrafik för det är ungefär samma stil på låtarna och det skall Maud ta som en komplimang för det var då han var som bäst. Som en mix av Lisa Ekdahl och Lars Winnerbäck alltså och gillar ni vissångare finns det inget att tveka över. 14/10-05

Fantastic record this one but it´s a question if she´s going to be bigger than Laleh because her lyrics is about her bisexuality and it´s much lyrics about sex and relationship and those things you shouldn´t sing about. Her alter ego Fröken Normal seems to have a really nice life and it´s been shown really fast in her lyrics. She haven´t a long way up to the big singer/songwriters and I would be surprised if she´s not soon is going to play for a bigger audience than she´s doing now. I could say that her record is a little like my favouriterecord with Lars Winnerbäck : Rusningstrafik because it´s a little bit the same style on the songs and that shall Maud take as a compliment because then he was at his best. As a mix of Lisa Ekdahl and Lars Winnerbäck and do you like singer/songwriters so isn´t it anything to think about, buy it!14/10-05
