MAIIJA-WHAT IF(CD-NOISE APPEAL NOISE 239)

Rätt skön musik måste jag nog säga. Maiija spelar en typ av indie men har en röst som skiljer sig från andra känns det som och jag vet inte vad jag ska jämföra med och det behöver jag nog inte göra heller. Det är en ganska lugn typ av musik som spelas men det är mycket känslor inblandade för Maiijas röst finns ju där och det är den som låter mest och den man hör mest såklart. Jag kan inte sätta in henne i någon genre egentligen utan jag måste nog säga att jag tycker det är vacker och känslofull musik som berör mig mycket. Så vill ni ha musik som man bara kan ligga och lyssna och njuta till utan att egentligen behöva lyfta ett finger, ett ben eller liknande så tycker nog att denna skiva passar ypperligt. Jag lägger mig ner på soffan och bara njuter av musiken och Maiijas röst för den är vacker på ett annorlunda sätt. 28/1-2026

Pretty nice music I must say. Maiija plays a type of indie but has a voice that is different from others it feels like and I don't know what to compare with and I don't think I need to do that either. It is a really calm type of music which is played but there is a lot of emotions involved because Maiija's voice is there and it is the one that sounds the most and the one you hear the most of course. I can't put her in any genre really, but I have to say that I think it's beautiful and emotional music that touches me a lot. So if you want music that you can just lie and listen to and enjoy without really having to lift a finger, a leg or the like, I think that this record fits perfectly. I lie down on the couch and just enjoy the music and Maiija's voice because it is beautiful in a different way. 28/1-2026

En lustig sak på den här skivan är att alla låtar heter något på I am….Maia Hirasawa tänker jag på först men det kanske är namnet men det kanske inte är helt fel beskrivning heller och lägg till lite Sinead O´Connor och Björk så känns det som en ganska bra beskrivning av Maiijas musik. Ni förstår att det är ganska lugn musik men det finns väldigt mycket känslor i musiken och det är absolut inte något som jag aldrig skulle sätta på igen. För det känns som skön avslappnande musik som Maiija ger oss. Perfekt att ligga att vila ögonen till och bara känna att kroppen svävar bort. Så varför inte ge Maiija chansen att berika era live och även om ni bara gillar punk så måste ni koppla av någon gång 😉 13/9-2023

A funny thing on this album is that all the songs are called something on I am....Maia Hirasawa I think of first but maybe that's the name but it might not be quite the wrong description either and add a little Sinead O'Connor and Björk and it feels like a pretty good description of Maiija's music. You see, it's pretty calm music, but there's a lot of emotion in the music and it's definitely not something that I would never put on again. Because it feels like nice relaxing music that Maiija gives us. Perfect to lie down to rest your eyes to and just feel that your body is floating away. So why not give Maiija the chance to enrich your live and even if you just like punk, you need to relax sometime 😉 13/9-2023
