MÄBE-KOM EVIGHET-KOM ÖGONBLICK(CD-TWOFACED)

Jag har ju haft turen att få följa Mäbe genom åren och här kommer nya skivan som kommer att finnas på vinyl. Han fortsätter på den inslagna vägen och det är som vanligt svårt att värja sig för Thåström-influenserna men precis som tidigare så gör det mig inget För influenser har alla och detta betyder ju inte på något sätt att det låter precis som den andra artisten eller gruppen bara för det. För jag tycker nog att Mäbe har ett eget uttryck och jag bara älskar en titel som är När stormarna bär människonamn för det har jag också alltid undrat varför någon ska få skulden. Han maler på med just titeln i en del av texterna så man missförstår nästan aldrig vad låten heter. Detta är den första fullängdaren på nio år och den var efterlängtad tycker jag! Att han sedan gör en cover på Ted Ströms Vintersaga gör inte saken sämre för den version ger mig mer än positiva rysningar. En saxofon gör entré i Tingeltangel och det blir nästan lite jazzigt just då men inte så det stör. Annars älskar jag Mäbes röst för även om musiken är ganska lugn så känns det ändå tufft på något sätt. I Glastak blir det lite mer rytm än vanligt och man hör nästan lite Var e vargen i bakgrunden och den här skiva känns mer varierad än vanlig men ändå med Mäbes omisskännliga röst, På den vägen är det och skivan blir ett litet mästerverk i sig själv. 10/10-2023

MÄBE-KOM EVIGHET-KOM ÖGONBLICK(CD-TWOFACED)

I have been lucky enough to follow Mäbe through the years and here comes the new album which will be on vinyl. He continues on the beaten path and it ́s as usual difficult to avoid the Thåström-influences but just as before it doesn ́t matter to me because everyone has influences and this doesn ́t mean in any way that it sounds exactly like the other artist or group just because of that. Because I think that Mäbe has its own expression and I just love a title which is När stormarna bär människonamn because I have also always wondered why anyone should be blamed. He goes on with the title in some of the lyrics so you almost never misunderstand what the song is called. This is the first full-length album in nine years and it was longed for, I think! That he then does a cover of Ted Ström's Vintersaga doesn ́t make it worse because that version gives me more than positive shivers. A saxophone makes an entrance in TingelTangel and it almost becomes a little jazzy at that time but not so much that it disturbs. Otherwise I love Mäbes voice because even if the music is really calm it feels tough in some way. In Glastak it ́s a little bit more rhythm than usual and you can almost hear a little bit Var e vargen in the background and this record feels more varied than usual but still with Mäbes unmistakable voice, On that way it is and the record becomes a small masterpiece in itself. 10/10-2023

MÄBE-NORRSKENSSKIMMER OCH SOLNEDGÅNG(DIGITAL)

Denna “skiva” kommer ut 18 december och en tre låtars livesingel som spelades in 14 juni 2020 som spelade in bara med kameror som publik. Norrskensskimmer och solnedgång är en riktigt bra låt och man undkommer inte Thåström när man skriver om Mäbe men han ska ta det som en komplimang istället för att bli ledsen. En riktigt tuff låt med Mäbes mått mätt och då menar jag att den är riktig tung i sitt utförande. För dom som blöder är en suggestiv låt och man hör att Mäbe går in i låten och drömmer sig bort trots att det inte är någon publik. Sista låten Sista beställningen är min favorit på skivan och jag sjunger med för fulla muggar mest hela tiden. Nu vill vi höra lite nya låtar med dig Mäbe! 23/11-2020

MÄBE-NORRSKENSSKIMMER OCH SOLNEDGÅNG(DIGITAL)

This "album" will be released on December 18 and a three-song live single that was recorded on June 14, 2020 that was recorded only with cameras as an audience. Norrskensskimmer och solnedgång is a really good song and you do not escape Thåström when you write about Mäbe but he should take it as a compliment instead of being sad. A really tough song with Mäbe's measurements measured and then I mean that it is really heavy in its performance. För dom som blöder is a suggestive song and you hear that Mäbe goes into the song and dreams away even though there is no audience. The last song Den sista beställningen is my favorite on the record and I sing with along on the song most of the time. Now we want to hear some new songs with you Mäbe! 23/11-2020

MÄBE-NÄR RÖSTEN I RADION SA HANS NAMN(12 + CD/DIGITALT/TWOFACED)

Mäbe fortsätter enträget att ge ut musik och det gör ha mer än rätt i. Lite udda känsla när jag i Poetens Död plötsligt tänkte på Uno Svenningsson och inte Thåström först. Mäbe, Thåström, Uno har alla lite udda röster och det gillar jag. En lugn inledningslåt där rösten talar mer än musiken egentligen. Riktigt snyggt är det och jag blir lika irriterad varje gång jag hör Mäbe…varför är han inte mer känd? Jag börjar mer och mer fundera på om det finns någon rättvisa i musikens värld just därför. Så mycket skit som folk lyssnar på när det finns så mycket bra musik av andra artister. Jag hoppas att Mäbe kommer att marknadsföra sig ännu mer så att han får en större publik för det är han verkligen värd. Det dom kallar frid är en favoritlåt på skivan och jag gillar det mäktiga inledningen. Du som missar denna skivan är dum i huvudet! 1/12-2017

Mäbe goes on to give out music and it does more than right. A little odd feeling when I suddenly thought of Uno Svenningsson and not Thåström first at the Poetens död. Mäbe, Thåström, Uno have all some odd voices and I like it. A quiet introductory song where the voice speaks more than the music really. Really nice is it and I get as annoyed every time I hear Mäbe ... why is he not more wellknown? I'm starting to think more about whether there is any justice in the world of music just for that reason. As much shit as people listen to when there is so much good music by other artists. I hope Mäbe will market himself even more so that he gets a bigger audience because he is really worth it. Det dom kallar frid is a favorite song on the record and I like the powerful introduction. You who miss this disc are stupid in your head! 1/12-2017

MÄBE-VARJE KVÄLL NÅNSTANS(DIGITAL SINGEL)

Mäbe kämpar på och denna singel kommer ut den 1 augusti och är tagen från en kommande skiva. Inledningsvis lovar låten gott men den suggestiva inledningen. Jag gillar låten fullt ut och Mäbe sjunger på ett lite annorlunda vis och jag tror inte längre att han försöker att låta som Thåström utan Mäbe låter Mäbe så jag ska sluta snacka om att han låter som Thåström . Punkt! Jag hoppas och tror att han kommer att bli riktigt stor för hans musik borde kunna slå men då menar jag inte att den slår på de stora scenerna och han blir känd för hela svenska folket utan mer att han verkligen borde slå stort i indievärlden för det är han värd efter alla dessa år av kämpande. Mäbe är redo för de stora scenerna! 11/7-2017

Mäbe is struggling on and this single will be released on August 1 and taken from an upcoming disc. Initially, the song promises good with the suggestive introduction. I like the song full and Mäbe sings in a slightly different way and I no longer think that he tries to sound like Thåström because Mäbe sounds Mäbe so I'll stop talking that he sounds like Thåström. Point! I hope and think he will be really big for his music to be able to be hit but then I do not mean it hits the big scenes and he becomes famous for the whole Swedish people, but more that he really should beat big in the indie world because he is worth after been playing after all these years. Mäbe is ready for the big scenes! 11/7-2017

MÄBE-I SKUGGAN UTAV TOMHET(SINGEL)

Mäbe kommer nog alltid att få höra att han har Thåström-vibbar men jag tror inte att han ogillar det. Det kan ju inte han hjälpa att han har en röst som liknar Thåström och att de har samma musikaliska förebilder eller vad man ska säga. Titellåten är en lugn ballad som sätter sig i huvudet med en gång och det är riktigt bra och jag är egentligen riktigt överraskad över att inte Mäbe är rikskändis för han gör bra musik och han berör mig på många sätt. Jag längtar efter en ny fullängdare med honom för jag tycker det känns bra och behagligt att lyssna till hans röst och de här lugna låtarna passar honom ypperligt. Trots att de är lugna så känner man punkens stämning där i bakgrunden….bra! 25/1-2017

MÄBE-I SKUGGAN UTAV TOMHET(SINGEL)

Mäbe will probably always be told that he has Thåström vibes but I do not think he dislikes it. It can not he help that he has a voice that resembles Thåström and that they have the same musical heroes or what to say. The title song is a quiet ballad that sits in your head at once and it's really good and I'm really surprised that not Mäbe is a national celebrity because he makes great music and he touches me in many ways. I long for a new album with him because I think it is good and pleasant to listen to his voice, and these calmer tunes suited him excellently. Although they are calm, you feel the punk atmosphere there in the background ... .Good! 25/1-2017

MÄBE-MOT INGENSTANS OCH ÖVERALLT(CD-TWOFACED TFP013)

I början av Mäbes solokarriär fanns det lite för mycket Thåströmkomplex för att man skulle vara helt nöjd. Efter hand har han hittat sin egen stil och på 2014 års skiva så fortsätter Mäbe i sin mer egna stil. Men det klart att en del av låtarna skulle platsat på en Thåström-skiva och det får nog Mäbe ta som ett beröm. Jag gillar hans lugna stil som ändå på något sätt låter desperat och tufft trots att tempot är lågt så är musiken tung på något sätt. Depressivt kanske man kan säga men ack så bra. Detta är nog Mäbes bästa skiva hittills och han har en stor potential till att bli riktigt stor och jag undrar varför han inte är känd för hela svenska folket.. Kanske han skall medverka i Så Mycket bättre. Skämt åsido så med ännu bättre reklam så borde den här killen vara välkänd i hela Sverige…så pass bra är hans episka rockmusik. 28/8-2014

MÄBE-MOT INGENSTANS OCH ÖVERALLT(CD-TWOFACED TFP013)

Early Mäbes solo career, there was a bit too much Thåström complex because you would be completely satisfied. Gradually, he found his own style and on the 2014 album continues Mäbe in his own style more. But it is clear that some of the songs would have been good on a Thåström  disc, and it'll probably take Mäbe as a praise. I like his quiet style that somehow sounds desperate and tough even though the pace is low, the music is heavy in any way. Depressant, you might say, but oh so good. This is enough Mäbes best album to date and he has a lot of potential to be really great and I wonder why he is not known to the Swedish people .. Maybe he will be involved in Så mycket bättre. Jokes aside so even better advertising so this guy should be well known throughout Sweden ... so good is his epic rock music. 28/8-2014

MÄBE-SINGLAR 2013(CD)

Fyra singlar ska tydligen släppas, en varje månad och första singeln kom igår…..Mäbe har ju ofta haft ett sound som låtit ganska mycket som Thåström…Det är väl inte så att han låter olikt denna gode Thåström här heller i alla fall musikaliskt för på Innan sanden låter pianot och kompet som om det skulle kunna komma från ”Beväpna dig med vingar”. Men jag tycker i vilket fall Mäbe mer och mer börjar få till ett eget sound och jag tror att de här fyra singlarna kan lyfta han och hans band karriär till större höjder.  Det bästa han gjort helt klart….. 1/3-2013

MÄBE-SINGLAR 2013(CD)

Four singles will apparently be released, one every month, and the first single came yesterday ..... Mäbe've often had a sound that had pretty much Thåström ... It's not that he sounds different from this good Thåström here either in all cases for musical Innan Sanden sounds and piano accompaniment as if it could come from "Beväpna dig med vingar." But I think in any case Mäbe more and more starting to get a unique sound and I think that these four singles to lift him and his band career to greater heights. The best thing he's done quite clear ..... 1/3-2013

Jag hoppas få säga någongång att inte Mäbe låter som Thåström och detta är nog första gången jag skulle kunna säga att Mäbe har slängt iväg sina “Thåström-komplex” och försöker låta på ett eget sätt och jag tycker han lyckas ganska bra med det. För i en låt som Budord har han till och med fått in lite Doors-influenser och om världen är rättvis nu så kommer Mäbes stora genombrott äntligen i år. Jag tycker nog att han och en kille som Stry borde få lite mer uppmärksamhet för det är de värda. De kämpar i motvind på något sätt ……så kom igen nu Rocksverige och ge Mäbe den stora tummen upp…..8/6-2012

I hope to say sometime that Mäbe doesn´t sounds like Thåström and this is maybe the first time that I can say that he have throwed away his Thåström-influences and tries to sound a little bit in his own way and I think that he manages really good to do that. Because in a song like Budord he have almost got in some Doors-influences and if the world is fair so will Mäbe big break come this year.  I think that he´s worth that and now comes Mäbes big breakthrough this year. I think that he and a guy like Stry really should get their music bigger because they´r worth that. They struggles against the wind….so come on now Rocksweden and give Mäbe a bug thump-up. …..8/6-2012

Jag har följt denne kille ett tag nu och här släpper han en fullängdare och det tycker jag är riktigt kul. Jag vet också att han älskar Thåström…jaja kanske inte så men musiken han gör i alla fall. Han kanske har haft lite för mycket Thåström över sig förut men jag tycker mer och mer att Mäbe börjar kunna stå på egna ben nuförtiden. En riktigt tuff inledning med ett annat koncept där han spelar någon slags industripunkliknande musik …riktigt fräckt. Men visst finns här Thåströmsinfluenser ännu men de är absolut inte störande för jag gillar ju Thåström och det gör inget om det finns någon mer som låter som honom. En riktigt bra CD-skiva och jag önskar Mäbe lycka till nu..9/4-2010

MÄBE-….SÖKER LÖGNER FÅR SANNING TILL SVAR(CD-TWO FACE PRODUCTIONS TFP 001/SOUND POLLUTION)

I have followed this guy for a while now and here he releases a fullength and that is really fun I think. I know also that he loves Thåström….nono not that way but the . He have maybe have too much Thåström in his music but I think more and more that Mäbe can stand on his own legs nowadsys. A really tough intro but with another concept there he plays some sort of indsutripunksimilar music…really cool.  But sure here is a lot of Thåströminfluences but it´s absolutely not disturbing because I like Thåström and there is no danger if there anyone more who sounds like him. A really good CD-record and I wish Mäbe good luck now….9/4-2010
