LOVELESS, LYDIA-REAL(CD-BLOODSHOOT BS 239/BORDER)

Jag älskar bilden på framsidan när hon på en svartvit bild sitter och röker. Omslaget påminner mig både om Dexys Midnight Runners och om Ian Dury…så vi får väl se var detta tar hän. Någonstans läste jag att hon skulle spela country och om hon nu gör det så är det en modern variant av just denna konstart! Det är lite mer singer/songwriterstilen och det är kanske inget nytt men det är riktigt bra! Men till och med lite tyngre och tuffare gitarrer har fått ta plats i en låt som Longer till exempel och Lydia sjunger riktigt bra i alla låtar men denna låt är nog min absoluta favoritlåt på skivan! Jag gillar soundet mycket på skivan och det känns som en fräscha ”nykomling” i mitt liv i alla fall. Kolla in om ni vill ha lite nytt singer/songwriterblod i er samling! 25/8-2016

I love the picture on the front when she is in a black and white picture and she sits and smokes. The cover reminds me both of Dexys Midnight Runners and Ian Dury ... so we'll see where this takes it´s way. Somewhere I read that she would play country music, and if she makes it, it is a modern variant of this particular art form! It's a little more singer / songwriter style, and it is perhaps not new but it is really good! But even a little heavier and tougher guitars have been taking place in a song like Longer for example, and Lydia sings really well in all the songs but this song is probably my absolute favorite song on the album! I like the sound very much on the record and it feels like a fresh "newcomer" in my life anyway. Check this out if you want some new singer / songwriter blood in your collection! 25/8-2016
