LIFESIZE MONSTERS-LARGER THAN LIFE(CD-ARACHNIDISC RECORDS)

Den här gruppen har låtar som Godzilla goes surfin och Wormhole och startar sin skiva med en distad surflåt med mycket annorlunda sånginsats där det nästan låter som om sångaren har micken i munnen när han sjunger. På den vägen är det mest hela tiden och det är distad musik som är grejen för Lifesize Monsters och det är framförallt surfig stil som är grejen med glada tillrop då och då och en och annan textrad. Ganska fräckt i små doser men en hel skiva kanske inte är riktigt vad jag mäktar med. Mer ett liveband tror jag än ett skivband om jag får säga vad jag tror. Men det är fräckt på något sätt. Helst en låt som Jethrine som är en riktigt bra punklåt och det kommer några låtar till där jag får Misfits feeling och skivan växer. 17/6-2015

This group has songs like Godzilla Goes Surfin and Wormhole and starts his album with a distorted surfsong with very different vocal performance where it almost sounds as if the singer has the mic in his mouth when he sings. On the way is the most all the time and it is distorted music that is the thing for LifeSize Monsters and it is especially surfy style that is the thing with happy cries every now and then and the occasional line of text. Quite brazenly in small doses, but an entire disc may not be quite what the stamina. More a live band, I think than a sheet strip may I say what I think. But it is cool in any way. Most a song like Jethrine which is a really good punksong and there is some more good songs with Misfits-feeling and the record becomes better all the time. 17/6-2015
