LEMONAIDS-BACK TO THE BEACH(CD-ROUND DOG RECORDS RDR-003)

Skivans omslag är väl inte det snyggaste jag sett precis där framsidan pryds av baksidan på någon iklädd regnbågs badbyxor…nja. Men musiken gillar jag och jag tänker både på Ramones Beach Boys och den perfekta blandningen på det. Lite som våra svenska kamrater i Sonic Surf City. Det ligger inte så långt ifrån vad de pysslar med precis. Det är snygga körer och poppig punk som ackompanjerar det hela. När jag koll på skivan så ser jag att Sonic DSurf City tackas tillsammans med några andra band. Kanske inte så konstigt egentligen men det är skit samma för detta är en skiva som gör mig väldigt glad och man vill sjunga med, dansa med och framförallt känner man för att festa till….. 9/10-2014

The discs cover is not the best looking I've seen exactly where the front is adorned with the back of someone wearing a rainbow swimwear ... hmmm. But the music I like and I think both the Ramones and the Beach Boys the perfect mix on it. A bit like our Swedish friends in Sonic Surf City. It is not so far from what they were doing right. It's great choruses and poppy punk that accompanies it all. When I track on the disc, I see that Sonic Surf City is thanked along with some other bands. Maybe not so strange really but it's the same shit for this is an album that makes me very happy, and you want to sing along with, dance with, and above all make you to party to ... .. 9/10-2014
