KÖTTGROTTORNA-XL(CD-BEAT BUTCHERS ORCD 77)

Det var ett tag sedan vi fick en ny skiva med Köttgrottorna och inledningslåten Vår tids P-musik om punken som har åldrats är ju helt suverän. Älskar den bara. Köttgrottorna har ju alltid blandat politiska texter med humor och det kjänns alltid befriande att lyssna på Köttgrottorna. Jag gör ingenting har ett sound som är såpass mycket Köttgrottorna och det känns så skönt och bekant att få höra nya låtar med gruppen. Att efter 40 år ändå låta såpass här piggt , det är en bedrift. Så precis som första låten beskriver så har punkarna blivit äldre men musiken består och pensionärshemmen i framtiden kommer att krylla av gamla punkare och musiken kommer att vara hög där. Krogen Tre Backar får ju en hyllningssång och det verkade vara ett trevligt ställe..Med glädje, humor och bra punkig pop så ger oss Köttgrottorna ännu en högttidsstund och det är en grupp som jag ofta kommer tillbaka till och det är så skönt att det inte ger sig utan kämpar på. De har gjort så många bra låtar och det fins en hel del på den här skivan som också kommer att sälla sig till klassikerna och bli livefavoriter. Stappelsnoa är en sådan låt som jag tror det kommer att sjungas med i utan problem. Ni som bara är inne på käng kanske inte ska bry er om detta men för oss som har en bredare punksmak så är och kommer alltid att vara Köttgrottorna en av Sveriges bästa punkgrupper och denna skiva är inget undantag. 22/5-2023

KÖTTGROTTORNA-XL(CD-BEAT BUTCHERS ORCD 77)

It's been a while since we got a new album with Köttgrottorna and the opening song Vår tids P-musik about punk that has aged is absolutely superb. Just love it. Köttgrottorna have always mixed political texts with humour and it is always liberating to listen to Köttgrottorna. Jag gör ingenting have a sound that is so much Köttgrottorna and it feels so nice and familiar to hear new songs with the group. To still sound this spirited after 40 years, it's an achievement. So just as the first song describes, the punks have gotten older but the music remains and the retirement homes in the future will be teeming with old punks and the music will be loud there. The restaurant Tre Backar gets a tribute song and it seemed to be a nice place. With joy, humor and good punky pop, Köttgrottorna gives us another moment of celebration and it is a group that I often come back to and it is so nice that it does not give up but fights on. They have made so many great songs and there is a lot on this album that will also join the classics and become live favorites. Stappelsnoa is one of those songs that I think it will be sung along to without any problems. You who are just into crustpunk may not care about this, but for us who have a broader punk taste, Köttgrottorna is and will always be one of Sweden's best punk groups and this album is no exception. 22/5-2023

KÖTTGROTTORNA-ROBIN HOOD(LP-BEAT BUTCHERS ORLP 69)

Detta är väl första skivan sedan Guld-Lars dog och här finns en låt som hyllning till honom. Med finns också några gamla låtar som vi hört förr på nätet. Men de olika inledningslåtarna Robin Hood 1,2 och 3 är riktigt bra låtar och politiska sådana. Det är skönt när inte ”gamla” gubbar ger sig och fortsätter att mala på med den här typen av texter för så länge det finns kvinnor som får stryk, alla inte behandlas lika och en rättvis framtid så behövs låtar som dessa. De har inte tappat sin stil musikaliskt och det är punk som det alltid har varit och då menar jag punk på Köttgrottornas vis. Lite gamla Incest Brothers blandat med poppigare toner och det är en riktigt bra skiva! Samhället är sjukt är en riktigt trallvänlig låt och det är bra med politiska texter som är lätta att sjunga med i och det är verkligen något Köttgrottorna lyckas med som vanligt! 6/4-2017

KÖTTGROTTORNA-ROBIN HOOD(LP-BEAT BUTCHERS ORLP 69)

Well this is the first album since the Guld Lars died and there is a song for him here. With are also some old songs that we heard before on the web. But the various introductory songs Robin Hood 1.2 and 3 are really good songs and political ones. It's nice when not "old" men give up and continue to grind on with this kind of texts for as long as there are women who are beaten, not everyone is treated equally and a fairly future so is songs like this needed. They have not lost their musical style and it is punk as it always has been and I mean punk in Köttgrottornas manner. A little old Incest Brothers mixed with more poppy tones and it's a really good album! Samhället är sjukl is a really catchy song and it's great with political lyrics that are easy to sing along to and it's really something Köttgrottorna succeed with as usual! 6/4-2017

KÖTTGROTTORNA-TOTALGALET(CD-BEAT BUTCHERS ORCD61)

Det var ett tag sedan vi fick höra något nytt med Köttgrottorna men nu har vi äntligen låtit en ny skiva se ljuset och en låt som Bolla med Zlatan kan bli en hit. Helt klart har de lyckats få till soundet som bara Köttgrottorna kan ha känns det som och helt klart är att gruppen inte har några konkurrenter när det gäller den här typen av punkrock för de har en egen genre känns det som. Man blandar allvar med humor i alla låtar känns det som och melodierna fastnar tycker jag. Det som jag kan tänka mig är att de ”riktiga” recensenterna kanske inte kommer att skriva att detta är en klassiker precis och rankar den så högt men de förstår ju ingenting utan de är fanzineredaktörer som fattar något sådant här. Online är en av deras bästa låtar tycker jag …….någonsin. 22/3-2013

KÖTTGROTTORNA-TOTALGALET(CD-BEAT BUTCHERS ORCD61)

It's been a while since we heard anything new with Köttgrottorna but now we finally had a new album to see the light, and a song that Bolla med Zlatan can be a hit. Clearly, they have managed to get the sound that just Köttgrottorna can have it feels like and it is clear that the group does not have any competitors in this type of punk rock in their own genre, it feels like. It mixes the serious with humor in all the songs, it feels like and the melodies get stuck I think. The thing that I can think of is that the "real" critics might not going to write that this is just a classic and ranks it so high, but they understand nothing but the fanzine editors who make something like this. Online is one of their best songs, I think ....... ever. 22/3-2013

 ORCD 44) En trevlig liten skiva eller trevliga små skivor. En skiva med gamla låtar och den börjar jag med. Fan vilka bra låtar de har gjort egentligen och de går ut med Gravöl, Tjejer är fula och Bosnien och alla de är riktigt bra. 24 låtar av både humor och allvar. Man märker att Köttgrottorna är en grupp som verkligen gillar att spela musik och framförallt då ganska lättrallad punkrock. Men Köttgrottorna är ett band som jag verkligen alltid har gillat och framförallt blir man glad av deras musik och det är väl det som är meningen med musik. Älska mig är en riktigt hitlåt och textraden ”Jag bytte punkfrisyr till munkfrisyr” är genial. Nu till den nya skivan som även den är fylld av goa låtar som håller ungefär samma stil, ni vet hur det låter, poppig, punkig och lätt-att-sjunga-med musik. Och med texter som bara de kan göra. Precis som vi vill ha Köttgrottorna.  7/2-05

 ORCD 44) A nice little record or shall I say small records. A record with old songs  and that one I start with. Hell what a load of good songs they have done and they go out really good with songs like Gravöl, Tjejer är fula and Bosnien and they´re really good songs. 24 songs with both humour and seriousness. You notice really fast that Köttgrottorna is a group which really likes to play music and mostly really easysinged punkrock. But Köttgrottorna is a band which I always have liked and I become really happy of their music and that´s the meaning with music. Älska mig is a real hitsong and with the line “I changed punkhair against monkhair”is a really genious. Now to the new record and that is also filled with good songs in the same style , and you know how it sounds, poppy, punky and easy-to-sing-along-with-music. And with lyrics as they as a band is the only band to do. Precisely as we want the Köttgrottorna. 7/2-05
