KELLY 8-THE SETUP(MINI-CD BOMBED OUT BOMB011) Denna gruppen är svensk och är ännu ett exempel på att svenska grupper måste söka sig utomlands för att få ge ut skivor. Med en sångerska Pia Högberg som låter lite arg när hon sjunger till denna musik som kan karektiseras som emocore eller något liknande men väldigt arg sådan. Vad menar jag med arg är väl lite svårdefinerbart men en stil som Siouxsie and the Banshees utvecklade verkar Kelly 8 ha fortsatt på på något underligt sätt. Det är roligt att höra deras musik som de verkar brinna för och de gör den med stor känsla för vad de gör.(SJU) 2/1-03 |
KELLY 8-THE SETUP(MINI-CD BOMBED OUT BOMB011)This group is swedish and is another example that swedish groups must go outside Sweden to get their records out. With a female singer Pia Högberg which sounds really angry when she sings to this music which can be described as emocore or something like that but very angry sort of emocore. What do I mean with angry is a little hard to define but a style that Siouxsie and the Banshees once upon a time invented seems it like Kelly ( have been continue on in an odd way. It´s fun to hear their music and they seem to burn for it and what they do is that they have a very big feeling for the music they do.(SEVEN) 2/1-03 |
