Ännu en ny skiva med denna J.Tex och jag gillar den med en gång känner jag för hans röst påminner mig om Tom Waits på något sätt och det gör egentligen musiken också. Musik som är väldigt lugn men Jens Einar sjunger på ett sådant sätt så det verkligen får en betydelse att lyssna på detta för den här typen av musik är verkligen musik som berör trots att det inte är världens mest snabba, tuffaste musik. Visst finns här influenser från country eller något sådant men jag tänker mer tillbaks på gammal amerikansk musik som kanske föregick country….jag vet inte vad den kallas men vad jag vet är att jag gillar den här gruppens stil riktigt mycket. 21/3-2013

Yet another new album with this J.Tex and I like it right away, I feel for his voice reminds me of Tom Waits in any way and it really does the music too. Music that is very quiet but Jens Einar sings in such a way so it really makes a significant listening to this for this kind of music is really music related, although it is not the world's fastest, toughest music. Certainly there are influences from country or anything like that but I think more back on the old American music that perhaps preceded  countrymusic .... I do not know what it is called but what I know is that I like about this group's style very much. 21/3-2013

J.tex är en grabb som redan gjort ett par album på Heptown men jag har inte hört honom innan. Det är väl ungefär den typen av musik som jag trodde. Jag får en känsla av att lyssna på en avkomma till Johnny Cash och Tom Waits när jag lyssnar på denna skiva och kunde två män få barn med varandra skulle kanske dessa två herrars barn låta så här. Omslaget, hela stilen känns ålderdomlig och det är en ganska fräck känsla att lyssna till skivan faktiskt och den känns faktiskt som om den kom ut i början av 60-talet eller något sådant och det är ju meningen. Jag blir glad av skivan och varför inte vara soundtrack till nästa version av O Brother where art thou?   24/11-09

J.tex is a guy which already have done some albums on Heptown but I haven´t heard him before. It´s the type of music which I thought it would be. I get a feeling of listening to him as an offspring to Johnny Cash and Tom waits when I listen to this record and could two men get a child together with each other so would maybe these two mens child sound like this. The cover, the whole style feels old and it´s really cool feeling to listening to the record actually and it feels like if it came out in the beginning of the 60´s or something like that and that´s the meaning. I become happy when I hear the record and why not be the soundtrack to the next version of O Brother where art thou?  24/11-09
