IDIOT IKON-IDIOT IKON(NOT ENOUGH RECORDS NER 073)

Den här gruppen låter inte som andra känns det som när jag lyssnar på inlednings låten. Visst det är crust men det finns så mycket annat finns där också och jag gillar verkligen deras sound. Jag gillar nog mest när de sjunger på norska men Marias röst passar in på alla språk känns det som. Det går snabbt som bara den men någonstans finns där alltid en melodiådra som är underbar. Marias röst är rå och om man ser på den tecknade bilden i skivan och hör hennes röst känner man ganska snabbt att man nästan blir lite rädd för henne. 10 låtar som verkligen berör mig och jag tänker på det igen att deras musik inte låter som några andra även om det självklart finns spår av andra grupper så klart. Idiot Ikon är ett av de mer intressanta banden i den här genren och genren är ju såklart crustpunk men det går inte alltid jättefort här utan här finns en hel del tyngd också. Skulle ni inte gilla den här gruppen och ni säger att ni är punkare som gillar hård musik så kan ni sluta kalla er punkare. Det är desperat ibland som i Nothing left och desperation i punk är ett måste….kolla in skivan med en gång. 14/4-2025

This group doesn ́t sound like others it feels like when I listen to the introductory song. Sure it's crust but there is so much else there too and I really like their sound. I probably like it most when they sing in Norwegian but Maria's voice fits into all languages it feels like. It goes fast as hell but somewhere there is always a melody vein that is wonderful. Maria's voice is raw and if you look at the cartoon in the album and hear her voice you feel quite quickly that you almost get a little scared of her. 10 songs which really touches me and I think about it again that their music doesn ́t sound like any others even if there are of course traces of other groups of course. Idiot Ikon is one of the more interesting bands in this genre and the genre is of course crustpunk but it doesn ́t always go very fast here but here is a lot of weight too. Should you not like this group and you say that you are punks who likes hard me. usic so can you stop calling yourself punks. It's desperate sometimes like in Nothing left and desperation in punk is a must....check out the record right away. 14/4-2025
