ICED EARTH-FRAMING ARMAGEDDIN SOMETHING WICKED PART 1 (CD SPV 80001152/PLAYGROUND) Tyvärr är detta en sådan där skiva där man hör en röst som pratar i alla låtar så man inte skall lägga ut den på nätet. Jag tror många gånger att recensenter lättare skriver ner sådana skivor men det är min uppfattning. Visst man förstår banden men de kommer ju ändå att komma ut på något sätt, skitsamma, nu till musiken. Iced Earth är väl ganska traditionella i sitt utförande av heavy metal och det som kanske skiljer dem från andra är att det nästan köras hela tiden i bakgrunden i en del av låtarna. Men annars tror jag säkert att ni som gillar powermetal kommer att avguda detta.(SEX) 28/8-07 |

I think many times that reviewers maybe write down those records but that is what I think. Sure you can understand the bands but the records will come out on the net in some way anyway, but fuck that, now to the music. Iced Earth is a really traditional in their way to do heavy metal and the thing which is apart from other bands is that it´s background vocals in many songs all the time and that I really like. But otherwise I think that you who likes powermetal will adore this one.(SIX) 28/8-07 |

ICED EARTH-OVERTURE OF THE WICKED(MINI-CD SPV 80001126/TRIADA) Traditionell hårdrock tycker jag mig höra på denna mini-CD. Iced Earth är säkert en grupp som gillas av diggare till Iron Maiden, Hammerfall och den typen av band. Fyra starka låtar och då menar jag helst melodiskt för där lyckas de verkligen fånga melodierna på rätt ställe. Helt okej lyssning för en stund och deras tuffhet kanske är spelad men jag gillar den.(SEX) 4/6-07 |

Four strong songs and then I mean melodic wise because there they really catch the melodies in the right way. ICED EARTH-TRIBUTE TO THE GODS(CD-CENTURY MEDIA 77406-2) Iced Earth har jag nästan aldrig hört innan förutom Horror Show som jag gillade ganska mycket. Här är det en coverskiva som når mina öron. Det är covers av Sabbath, Maiden, Kiss, Judas, Alice mm mm och det är väl inget häpnadsväckande. De gör vad de ska och det är mer av en hyllningsplatta till sina gamla favoriter än något nytt. De gör inget eget av låtarna så man får ta det för vad det är. Det är ju i och för sig bra låtar från början så varför förstöra dem.(SEX) 10/10-02 |

Here it´s a coverrecord which comes to my ears. It´s covers by av Sabbath, Maiden, Kiss, Judas, Alice and so on and that nothing new. They do what they must do with the songs and it´s really a tributerecord to the bands more than anyhting new. They don´t do anything own of the songs and you must take it for what it is. | ICED EARTH-HORROR (CD-CENTURY MEDIA CM 77305 2/HOK/MNW) Med 11 låtar som andas skräckfilm med titlar som Damien, Jeckyl & Hyde, Frankenstein och Dracula för att nämna några så fastnar denne gruppen hemma hos en skräckdiggare som mig. Jag gillar faktiskt deras 80-talsmetall som är riktigt trevlig många gånger. Det är låtar med en sångare som jag borde hata men Iced Earth lyckas faktiskt få mig att digga deras heavymetal på ett ganska bra sätt. Mycket död och onda saker på framsidan men musiken framkallar mest tankar om långhåriga pojkar med en jakt på framgång. Och jag tror de kommer att lyckas med denna skiva(SEX) 8/7-01 | ICED EARTH-HORROR (CD-CENTURY MEDIA CM 77305 2/HOK/MNW) With 11 songs which really breaths horrormovie and with titles like Damien, Jeckyl & Hyde, Frankenstein and Dracula to mention some of these songs they really gets climbed at my home because I´m really like horrormovies. I like their 80´s smelling metal which is really nice many times. It´s songs with a singer which I really should hate but I like their heavymetal really much. Much dead and evil things on the frontcover but I think most of boys which is smelling success and I think they do it with this record(SIX) 8/7-01 |
