ICE CHEMICALS-THE LOWEST POINT(CD-ICECHEMCIALS2601/3)

Gruppen kommer från Frankrike och innehåller 6 personer. Geoffreys röst låter som den kommer från avgrunden medans Anais röst kommer och hjälper upp hela skivan med sin väna stämma. Så det är svårt att beskriva musiken egentligen för när Geoffreys röst ljuder så känns det som death metal men annars är det någon slags nu-metal eller liknande. Det är riktigt bra och jag gillar faktiskt blandningen av röster för den gör att skivan inte blir så enformig och när de sjunger ihop är ju inte fel heller men då sjunger han på ”riktigt” verkar det som. Men jag kan faktiskt inte jämföra med något annat men gillar ni tuffare metal än powermetal så kommer ni med all säkerhet att gilla detta också. Man rycks med i det tuggande tempot och jag vill sjunga som båda två egentligen…Kanske lite tråkigt att de inte sjunger på franska för de sjunger på engelska. Men som förband till Metallica eller System of A Down skulle de passa bra tänker jag! 25/5-2026

The group comes from France and contains 6 people. Geoffrey's voice sounds like it comes from the abyss while Anai's voice comes and helps the whole album with its friendly voice. So it's hard to describe the music really because when Geoffreys voice sounds it feels like death metal but otherwise it's some kind of nu-metal or similar. It's really good and I actually like the mix of voices because it makes the record not so monotonous and when they sing together is not wrong either but then he sings "for real" it seems. But I can't actually compare with anything else but if you like tougher metal than power metal you will surely like this too. You get carried away in the chewing tempo and I want to sing like both of them really... Maybe a little sad that they don't sing in French because they sing in English. But as a support act for Metallica or System of A Down they would fit well I think! 25/5-2026
