HERESY-ORDINARY DECENT LIFE(CD- M & O MUSIC 200)

50 minuter av hård musik fördelad på 9 låtar är vad som bjuds när Heresy(nej, det är inte det gamla hardcorebandet)ger oss sin skiva Ordinary Decent Life. På min promo-Cd står det att det är mittemellan Megadeth och Metallica och det är väl kanske lite sanning bakom det påståendet. Så ni förstår att det inte är någon typ av ny musik som är grejen utan mer ett förfinande av den musikstilen. Det är ändå en metallstil som jag gillar mycket och thrashmetal är väl den stil som ligger mig närmast till hjärtat av alla metallstilar. Så ni vet vad ni komemr att få när ni köper den här skivan, taggiga gitarrer, solon och ganska långa låtar. Typiskt thrashmetalstil alltså och det är alltid skönt att veta att man kan vara trygg och man vet vad man får. Straight to the wall är nog den låt som jag tycker ligger närmast ett sound som Metallicas men de får den till en egenstil mycket på grunda av sångaren. Riktigt bra skiva det här. 50 minutes of hard music divided into 9 songs is what is offered when Heresy (no, it's not the old hardcore band) gives us their record Ordinary Decent Life. On my promo CD it says that it's somewhere between Megadeth and Metallica and there is maybe some truth behind that statement. So you understand that it's not some type of new music that's the thing, but more a refinement of that style of music. It's still a metal style that I like a lot and thrash metal is probably the style that is closest to my heart of all metal styles. So you know what you will get when you buy this record, jagged guitars, solos and really long songs. Typical thrash metal style and it's always nice to know that you can be safe and you know what you're getting. Straight to the wall is probably the song which I think is closest to a sound like Metallica's but they get it to a style of their own much because of the singer. Really good record this. Buy and check this out if you like Metallica... Absolutely! 21/5-2026
