HEAVY TRASH-HEAVY TRASH(CD-CRUNCHY FROG FROG 041-2) En grupp med Jon Spencer från Blues Explosion och det sägs att detta är The NOW sound of Rockabilly, det kanske är rätt. En mycket ”gammalt” sound har de i alla fall och i Lover Street låter de som ett mycket tidigt Rolling Stones, samma tidstypiska ljud till och med. Mycket fräckt sound för det låter verkligen naket och det känns inte som om detta är inspelat i nutid utan att det är inspelat i någon studio sent 50-tal eller något sådant. De har verkligen fått till soundet och egentligen är inte detta min typ av musik men efter några lyssningar sitter dessa låtar som ett spett.Kolla in om ni gillar Blues Explosion men vill ha ett naknare sound!(SEX) 13/5-05 |

A very “old” sound have they anyway and in Lover Street they sound like an early Rolling Stones, it´s the same timetypical sound. Very cool sound because it really sounds naked and it doesn´t feel like that this is recorded in nowtime , it feels more like if this is recorded in the late 50´s or something like that. They have really got foreward the sound and it´s not my type of music but after some listenings it´s there like a hitsong. Check this out if you like Blues Explosion but want a more naked sound.(SIX) 13/5-05 |
