HAUSE, DAVID-….AND THE MERMAID(LP-SBÄM RECORDS)

David Hause spelade i The Loved Ones för att säga något band han varit med i. Denna otroligt snygga vinylskiva ackompanjeras med riktigt bra punkrock. Ungefär på det sättet som till exempel Social Distortion framför sin musik. Kanske inte helt rätt jämförelse men det jag vill säga med detta att David Hause är en kille med en röst som berör. Nästan lite arenarockkänsla i Look alive men då menar jag inte att den är tråkig på något vis utan här finns det potential för att bli riktigt stor. Varför inte kolla in den här killen med en gång för hans musik är riktigt intressant. Som en bro mellan Bruce Springsteen och punkrock kanske. Väldigt svårt att beskriva och det enda som passar in på hans musik är att detta är en jävligt bra skiva oavsett genre. Skivan kommer att spelas många gånger här hemma i alla fall och det är stort för de flesta artister. 😊 6/10-2025

David Hause played in The Loved Ones, to name a band he was in. This incredibly nice vinyl record is accompanied with really good punkrock. Much like the way that, for example, Social Distortion performs their music. Maybe not quite the right comparison but what I want to say with this is that David Hause is a guy with a voice that touches. Almost a little arena rock feeling in Look alive but then I don't mean that it is boring in any way, but here there is potential to be really big. Why not check this guy out right away because his music is really interesting. Like a bridge between Bruce Springsteen and punk rock maybe. Very hard to describe and the only thing that fits his music is that this is a damn good record regardless of genre. The record will be played many times here at home anyway and that is big for most artists. 😊 6/10-2025
