HALF PRICE-TAKING LIFE SERIOUSLY(MINI-CD/RED AMBULANCE) Punkrock från Sydafrika är väl inte så vanlig. I alla fall inte hemma hos mig. Fick skivan direkt från dem och det känns alltid fräckt när man får det. Musiken då, lite Millencollin-aktig punkrock och framförallt verkar de ha kul när de spelar. 4 låtar är kanske svårt ibland att bilda sig en uppfattning med men jag tycker jag för en ganska klar bild av gruppen och deras sätt att ge oss musik. En hel del ska-takter i några av låtarna också och det passar dem ypperligt och som i Real Men blir det nästan mer ska än punk. Jag skulle i vilket fall höra mer från gruppen och hoppas på en fullängdare. Min favoritlåt är 15 years.(SJU) 4/5-05 |

I got the record dircetlt from the band and it´s always cool when you got that. The music then, a little bit Millencollin-styled punkrock and it seems like if they have very fun when they play. 4 songs is a little bit difficult to get your opinion clear with but I think I got the picture right of the group and their way to gives us music. Some skatunes in some of the songs also and it suits them really fine and as in Real men it´s more ska than punk. I would anyway want to hear some more from the group and I hope to hear a fullength soon. My favoruitesong is 15 years.(SEVEN) 4/5-05 |
