GROOVIES-NEW SENSATION(CD- ALLEYCAT RECORDS ALC010) Stefan Sundström har producerat denna skiva och det är riktigt rockigt det hela och en grupp som Cramps kommer upp i mitt huvud när jag hör andra låten Moneymaker. Annars är det en hel del 60-tal mixat med punkiga tongångar och jag kan någonstans tänka mig att Groovies, Mando Diao och The Hives har samma förebilder och det är riktigt fräckt. Stökigt, melodier och ett jävla ös är signumet för Groovies. Jag kan tänka mig att de är en upplevelse live också….(SJU) 11/8-09 |
GROOVIES-NEW SENSATION(CD- ALLEYCAT RECORDS ALC010) Stefan Sundström have produced this record and it´s really rocking the whole thing and a group like Cramps comes up in my head when I hear the second song Moneymaker.Otherwise is a whole lot of 60´s mixed with punky stuff and I can somewhere imagine that Groovies, mando Diao and The Hives have the same influences and that´s cool. Messy music, melodies and a fucking speed is the signum for Groovies. I can imagine that they´re really good live too…(SEVEN) 11/8-09 |
