GRIMSKUNK-GRIMSKUNK(CD-INDICA CARD 1028) Första skivan med Grimskunk och detta är riktigt bra tycker jag. Det finns drag både av Voodoo Glow Skulls och tuffare akter. Det är svårt att hitta ett fack för denna musik. För den här typen av hård rock blandad med lite takter är och var inte sådär jättvanlig. Denna skiva kom ut 1994 och då fanns det helt klart inte så många band som lät så här. Kolla in om ni är intresserade av lite rytmer blandat med tuff rock.(SJU) 12/9-02 |
GRIMSKUNK-GRIMSKUNK(CD-INDICA CARD 1028) The first record with Grimskunk and it´s really good I think. There some Voodoo Glow Skulls there and there is some tougher acts too. It´s diificult to find a place to place their music. Because this style of hard rock mixed with some rhytm is and was not so usual. GRIMSKUNK-MELTDOWN(INDICA INDCD007) Denna skiva kom ut 1996 och det var tuffare tongångar då när det gällde Grimskunk. Man hade nog lyssnat en hel del på tuffare akter än vad de gör nuförtiden. Det är mer åt hårdrockshållet denna skiva och jag kommer att tänka på grupper som Rollins band, blandat med Rage Against the Machine och den typen grupper. Ni förstår då att det är tungt och aggressivt det Grimskunk pysslade med. Kolla in om ni vill ha allt med gruppen annars köper ni senare saker. La vache har lite skatoner i musiken och det låter bra.(SEX) 9/9-02 |
GRIMSKUNK-MELTDOWN(INDICA INDCD007) This record came out 1996 and it was tougher style they had then when it´s all about Grimskunk. They had listened more to some tougher things than they do nowadays. It´s more to the heavymetalstyle and I think about groups like Rollins Band mixed with Rage Agaisnt the Machine and that style of groups. You understand then that this is heavy and aggressive that music that Grimskunk was doing then. Please check this out if you want everything with the group but otherwise please buy the later stuff. GRIMSKUNK-SEVENTH WAVE(CD-INDICA INDCD 029) En trevlig liten laserbit det här. Jag trodde helt klart att detta skulle vara skamusik. Jag vet inte varför men namnet fick mig att tänka på det. Men det hela handlar om ganska fräsch poppunk i sann emoanda med rockinfluenser med lite delar av grunge. Det låter helt glasklart men vad jag menar är att jag både kan höra Peter and the Test Tube Babies och Nirvana i deras musik. Det är väl inga dåliga jämförelser eftersom jag anser bägge banden vara mycket bra. Grimskunk har lyckats få in det där berömda drivet i sin musik som man måste ha för att vara ett bra rockband.(SJU) 6/9-02 |
GRIMSKUNK-SEVENTH WAVE(CD-INDICA INDCD 029) A really nice little laserthing this one. I thought this would be skamusic. I don´t know why but it was the name which made me think that I believe. But it´s really fresh poppunk in true emospirit with some rockinfluences with some mixes of grunge. This sound really glassclear or but what I mean is that you can both hear Peter and The Test Tube Babies and Nirvana in their music and that no bad bands to be compared to because I like both bands very much. Grimskunk have managed to get the famous drive in their music you must have to be a really good rockband.(SEVEN) 6/9-02 |
