GRAND CADAVER-THE ROT BENEATH(LP-MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN MMR 109)

En lite av best of grupp av musiker. Med folk från Dark Tranquilty, Novarupta mm mm så är detta faktiskt min första bekantskap med gruppen och de två första albumen måste införskaffas också. Detta är en fyra låtars skiva med vacker grön-svart (kanske mer gulsvart) och med en snygg baksida med gruppen porträtterad. Det är death metal men väldigt nyanserad sådan och jag tycker nog att Grand Cadaver är bland det bättre som har kommit fram Sverige när det gäller den här musiken. Älskar bara de tunga trummorna tillsammans med alla melodier som de får fram i sin riktigt snabba och hårda musik. Jag skulle nog kunna sträcka mig till att säga att Grand Cadaver är mitt favoritband i genren just nu. De här fyra låtarna lovar mer och Mikael Stannes röst är bara perfekt till det här larmet. Missar ni Grand Cadaver missar ni något väldigt viktigt i livet. Metal när den är som bäst! 27/10-2025

A bit of a best of group of musicians. With people from Dark Tranquilty, Novarupta etc etc this is actually my first acquaintance with the group and the first two albums have to be bought as well. This is a four song record with beautiful green-black (maybe more yellow-black) and with a nice back cover with the group portrayed. It's death metal but very nuanced and I think that Grand Cadaver is probably among the better that has come out Sweden when it comes to this music. I just love the heavy drums together with all the melodies that they get out in their really fast and hard music. I could probably stretch to say that Grand Cadaver is my favorite band in the genre right now. These four songs promise more and Mikael Stanne's voice is just perfect for this alarm. If you miss the Grand Cadaver, you miss something very important in life. Metal at its best! 27/10-2025
