GORE GORE GIRLS-GET THE GORE(CD BLOODSHOT RECORDS BS142/BORDER) Det är egentligen ganska kul att höra vad man kan göra med enkla medel och ganska enkel musik. För Gore Gore Girls musik är ganska simpel och de har tagit klassiska riff och gjort det till ett ändå ganska eget sound. Man blir glad av deras musik för de här tjejerna vet hur man spelar uppsluppen partymusik med inslag både från punk och garagerock n roll. De blandar egna låtar med klassiker eller i varje fall covers. För det som är kul med deras covers är att de har letat lite grand efter låtar som inte alla andra grupper har spelat sönder. Because Gore Gore Girls music is really simple and they have taken classic riffs and made them to a really own sound. You become happy because their music is something the girls know how to play happy music and real partymusic with mixes both from punk and garage rock n roll. They mix own songs with classic songs or anyway covers. GORE GORE GIRLS-UP ALL NIGHT(CD-GH 1096/BORDER)Som ett tuffare Donnas stod det i pressreleasen och det kanske inte är så ofta man kan hålla med dem. Men denna gång känns det som en helt rätt beskrivning. För Gore Gore Girls är en grupp som satsar på en ganska stökig stil av tjejrock(ja jag vet att en del hatar uttrycket men nu är det en tjej som sjunger och det är ingen som säger emot när man kallar ett band för pojkband) som verkligen berör mig. I I don´t think so blir det till och med lite 60-tal och Shangri-Las är en grupp som jag då kommer att tänka på. Because Gore Gore Girls is a group which is playing a really tough styled form of girlrock(yeah I know that many of you hate the expression girlrock but it´s a girlw ho sings so then it is so and that´s nobody who says against me when we talk about bouybands) which really touch me. In I don´t think so there´s a little bit of 60´s rock too and a group like Shangri-Las comes to my mind.
