GHOULS-STAND ALONE(CD-SOS RECORDS SOSR6056) De här killarna ser verkligen punkiga ut. Tre tuppkammar och en spikehårig. Om man kollar in deras hemsida så verkar det ha varit en del ändringar från förra skivan i bandet. Men sångaren är kvar i alla fall och han har en röst som passar så bra in på den här musiken. Man kan ju nästan tänka sig vad det skall vara för musik och det man tänker är att detta säkert är Exploited-liknande musik och där är man inte helt fel ute egentligen. Det går fort, de är arga och texterna är typiskt punkiga. Men det låter som om de bara är fyllda av klichéer men det tycker jag inte…det som de gör känns äkta och att de verkligen menar det. Är ni inne på tidig 80-talspunk som är Ghouls verkligen något för er.(ÅTTA) 18/1-07 |

If you check out their website it seems to have been a lot of changes since the last record but the singer is still left and he have a voice which really suits in fine on this music. You can almost imagine which sort of music it would be and I think that this surely will be Exploited-music in some way and I´m not wrong at all when I think so. It goes fast, they´re angry and the lyrics are typical punkish. But this maybe sounds as they are filled with clichés maybe but so isn´t it I think….the things they do feels real and that they really mean it. Do you like early 80´s punk so is Ghouls really something for you.(EIGHT) 18/1-07 |
