FAT WALTZ-MOVE OVER(CD-SURFIN KIT RECORDS SKR070)

Italiensk musik är ju ofta riktigt bra och nu får vi kolla in Fat Waltz som sjunger på engelska och det ser ut som om det blir lite gammaldags musik.  De lät ungefär som jag trodde och som jag hoppades. Det är lite typ av glamrock a´la Mud, Sweet, T.rex etc som är grejen för Fat Waltz. Det låter ganska tidstypiskt men ändå modernt på något sätt trots det "ålderdomliga” soundet. Det är rockigt som bara den och det finns en hel del melodier att nynna med i och jag gillar deras sound som får mig att tänka på min uppväxt så gammal som jag är. Men vill ni ha ett nytt sound eller ny stil så får ni nog kolla in något annat band för detta är inget för er isåfall. Men att man får rocka lite på rumpan råder det ingen tvekan om i alla fall. 5/10-2015

Italian music is often really good and now we must check out Fat Waltz who sings in English and see looks like that it gets a little old-fashioned music. They sounded like I thought and I was hoping. There are some kind of glam rock a'la Mud, Sweet, T.rex etc that is the thing for Fat Waltz. That sounds pretty typical of the time but still modern in any way despite the "archaic" sound. It's rocking like crazy and there are a lot of melodies to hum along to and I like their sound which makes me think of my childhood as old as I am. But do you want a new sound or new style so you get enough, check out some other bands for this is nothing for you in that case. But that will rock a bit on the butt, there is no doubt in any case. 5/10-2015
