FATAL
BLOW-GENERALS & SOLDIERS(CD-MAD
BUTCHER MBR 182)
”Let´s make
Racists afraid again” sjunger Fatal Blow i sin låt Proud Boys, proud of what?
69 och No Nazi skins.
Man får

FATAL
BLOW-GENERALS & SOLDIERS(CD-MAD
BUTCHER MBR 182)
"Let's make
Racists afraid again" sings Fatal Blow in their song Proud Boys, proud of
what? And that sounds good, I think. Otherwise, it is well-known working
texts in punk that are the thing for Fatal Blow. They also have one of the
best song titles in many years as "Still hate Thatcher". As a bonus, we get
15 songs that are recorded live in Manchester and these are songs like
Police brutality, Spirit of 69 and No Nazi skins. Fatal Blow started as a
side project for Oppressed but seems to have grown into something more
because they have made three full-lengths and a live album. Then you
understand that it is old foxes who know how to write a street punk song and
they really know that. Fast songs and just the right amount of distortion
and with a singer who sounds like you should do when you sing in a group
like this. Typical streetpunk sound and it is a sound that I like very much.
They have taken a lot of the music from the early punk and it was the one I
grew up with and added a little tougher sound and it feels like that is how
you can describe oi/streetpunk. You get a lot for your money on this CD
because there are a total of 27 songs and there is not really much to think
about if you like good punk rock. 3/9-2020 |
