ED BANGER 6 THE NOSEBLEEDS/EDWEENA BANGER-BE WHO YOU WANNA BE(HILJAISET LEVYT HIKS-083)

Edweenas låt är en riktigt skön 77-punk låt och lite grand tänker jag på gamla grupper som Radioators och Radio Stars och det är ju inte helt fel om man är inne på sådan musik och det är ju jag om någon. Det är ändå den här typen av lite snällare punk som jag växt upp med och EDWEENA lyckas fånga den tidsandan på sin del av skivan. Påsen andra sidan är det Ed Banger & The Nosebleeds med sin låt Riding the whirlwind och den låten är väl snäppet bättre tycker jag än Edweenas sida. Lite mer desperat på något sätt och lite mer distad på ett skönt sätt och det är ju så att man bara vill höra mer av den här gruppen…helt klart. Lätt att sjunga med i den retsamma kören som finns i låten och jag vill ju som sagt bara höra mer men det får jag göra på annat sätt. KÖP!!!25/5-2026

Edweena's song is a really nice 77-punk song and a little bit I think of old groups like Radioators and Radio Stars and it ́s not so wrong if you are into such music and that is me if anyone. It is still this type of a little bit kinder punk that I grew up with and EDWEENA manages to capture that zeitgeist on their part of the record. On the other side it's Ed Banger & The Nosebleeds with their song Riding the whirlwind and that song is a bit better I think than Edweena's side. A little more desperate in some way and a little more distorted in a nice way and it's just that you just want to hear more of this group... Absolutely. Easy to sing along with the teasing chorus that is in the song and I just want to hear more but I have to do that in another way. BUY!! 25/5-2026

Med låtar som Yabba Yabba do, bad Punks on Dope och You´ve been tangoed så ger oss Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds oss sin musik. Ännu en grupp som lever kvar i 77-punken och det är ju jag tacksam för eftersom det egentligen är min typ av favoritmusik. Jag vet att vi klagade på raggarna i stan att de lyssnade på 50-talsmusik och var nostalgiska men nu gör vi samma sak egentligen, punkarna alltså. Men punken har ju utvecklats i modernare tappningar och andra genres och det gjorde kanske inte raggarmusiken precis. Men tillbaka till denna grupp som faktiskt har ett tidstypiskt sound tycker jag och 77-punken är stort för dem och det gillar jag och helt klart är det mycket känslor och attityd inblandat när denna grupp gör sin punk! With songs like Yabba Yabba do, bath Punks on Dope and You've been tangoed so giving us Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds us their music. Another group lives on in the 77-punk and that is, I am grateful for because it really is my kind of favorite music. I know we complained about the greasers in town that they were listening to 50s music and was nostalgic, but now we are doing the same thing really, punks, that is. But punk've evolved into more modern vintages and other genres and it perhaps did not the greasers music did that exactly. But back to this group that actually has a time typical sound, I think, and 77-punk is great for them, and I like that, and clearly it is much emotion and attitude involved when this group makes its punk!
