DUCKY BOYS-THE WAR BACK HOME(CD-I SCREAM RECORDS 88.836.02) Riktigt bra är Duckyboys och helst när det låter som Social Distortion i några av låtarna så blir det om möjligt ännu bättre. Det kanske inte är punkrock i alla lägen , i alla fall inte på det traditionella viset utan mer att man hör det i bakgrunden och jag kan tänka mig att alla tankar och känslor andas punkrock. The middle children of history är ju en fantastisk låt som bara har så mycket känslor inblandade och helt klart en av de bättre punklåtar jag hört det senaste, i alla fall refrängen. Det är mycket det de lever på, sina refränger och helt klart är att Ducky Boys är ett av de mer intressanta punk/rock-banden nu.(SJU) 27/6-06 |
DUCKY BOYS-THE WAR BACK HOME(CD-I SCREAM RECORDS 88.836.02) Really good is Ducky Boys and most when they sound like Social Distortion in some of the songs so is it even better. It's not maybe pure punkrock everytime , anyway not in the traditional way but it's more so that your hear it in the background and I can imagine that all thoughts and feelings is breathing punkrock. The middle children of history is a fantastic song which have so much feelings involved and it's one of the best punksongs I have heard in the latest, anyway the refrain. It's much so that they lives on, their refrains and really obvious is that Ducky Boys is one of the more interesting punk/rockbands right now.(SEVEN) 27/6-06 |

DUCKY BOYS-THREE CHORDS AND THE TRUTH(CD-I SCREAM RECORDS 88.884.02) Fantastiskt bra musik det här. Men jag har för mig att de var punkigare än såhär. För nuförtiden spelar Duckyboys en typ av poppig punk i samma anda som …..jag vet inte riktigt. Men de 16 låtarna gör i alla fall mig glad och det behövs ju i dessa katastrof-tider. Jag tror ju helt klart att ni som är inne på lite gladare punkgrupper och inte bryr er så mycket om att det skall vara deprimerande texter utan mer att ni gillar ösig punkrock. Till och med Stand by Me har fått en nyputsning av gruppen även om den inte skiljer sig så mycket från originalet.(SJU) 3/1-05 |

But nowadays plays Duckyboys some type of poppy punk in the same vein as….I don´t really know. But the 16 songs make me happy anyway and that is needed in these catastrophe-times. I think that you people who is into some happier punkgroups and don´t care so much about that it must be depressing lyrics and like more fast punkrock. And they have also done a cover of Stand ny me but it´s not so far away from the original.(SEVEN) 3/1-05 |
