Spansk garagerock som sjungs på spanska är jag inte så bortskämd med men nu har det hänt. Doctor Explosion verkar ha hållit på länge och släppte sin första skivan 1990. Det är en viss typ av garagerock men de har ett ganska tungt komp i några av låtarna. Men som i Vestir de mujer så har de ett sound som nästan får mig att tänka på Byrds/Doors eller något sådant lugnare band. Om man tittar på omslaget som verkar kommer från en konsert så verkar det gå ganska vilt till på en sådan spelning i alla fall. Älskar gitarren på El Dia Que David Bowie för här är det tidiga Kinks gitarrer som gäller för den här gruppen. Ni förstår ganska snart att de verkar ha ett sound som doftar lite 60-tal men det gör väl ganska ofta garagerock egentligen? Jag gillar deras attityd riktigt mycket och deras melodier sätter sig i huvudet ganska snabbt. Trallvänligt på 60-talsvis och det som slår mig mest är att alla låtar lever sitt eget liv lite grand och har influerats av många olika stilar men främst en grupp som heter Kinks tror jag…älskar gruppens gitarrljud! 18/1-2023

Spanish garage rock sung in Spanish I'm not too spoiled with but now it has happened. Doctor Explosion seems to have been going on for a long time, releasing their first record in 1990. It's a certain kind of garage rock but they have a pretty heavy comp in some of the songs. But as in Vestir de mujer, they have a sound that almost makes me think of Byrds/Doors or some such calmer band. If you look at the cover that seems to come from a concert, it seems to be pretty wild at such a gig anyway. Love the guitar in El Dia Que David Bowie because here it is early Kinks guitars that apply to this group. You understand pretty soon that they seem to have a sound that smells a little 60's but it does quite often garage rock really do? I like their attitude really much and their melodies settle in my head pretty quickly. Easy to sing along in the 60's way and what strikes me the most is that all the songs live their own life a little bit and have been influenced by many different styles but mainly a group called the Kinks I think... love the guitar sound of the group! 18/1-2023
