DIESTINCT-EN KAPSEJSAD HIMMEL(LP-NINETONE RECORDS NRLP182)
Diestinct höll ju på att bli riktigt stora en gång i tiden. Nu kanske de tar
chansen och blir denna gång. Jag var nästan lite skeptisk när jag satte på
skivan men den oron försvann ganska fort måste jag säga. Bra låtar, blandat
med texter som ganska är lite svårtydda men musiken är en skön indieliknande
musik och jag tänker lite på gamla Reeperbahn och Lustans Lakejer men
framförallt tänker jag på att Diestinct är tillbaka i stor stil. Tittar man
inne i skivan så ser man en stridshärjad stad och det ger den där lite
dystra känslan man får av musiken en än större betydelse. Men jag menar inte
att det är dystert på ett dåligt sätt men jag gillar soundet så mycket. Jag
skulle kunna tänka mig ta gruppen kommer att bli recensenternas favoriter
och jag hoppas verkligen att de lyckas att ta publiken med storm också.
Kanske tycker en del att det skulle låta 80-tals indie men jag tycker nog
att soundet är såpass modernt så att dagens publik kommer att älska musiken.
Längesedan jag blev så positivt överraskad av en skiva. Stor musik med en
stor grupp…..välkomna tillbaka…..stanna nu och gör mer! 18/7-2023

Diestinct
was
getting
really
big
once
upon
a
time.
Now
maybe
they
will
take
the
chance
and
will
be
this
time. I
was
almost
a
little
skeptical
when I
put
the
record
on,
but
that
worry
disappeared
pretty
quickly,
I
must
say.
Good
songs,
mixed
with
lyrics
that
are
quite
difficult
to
interpret but the music
is a nice
indie-like
music and I think
a
little
about
the
old
Reeperbahn
and
Lustans
Lakejer
but
above
all
I
think
that
Diestinct
is
back
in
great
style.
If you
look
inside the
album, you
see
a
battle-torn
city
and
it
gives
that
slightly
gloomy
feeling
you
get
from
the
music
an
even
greater
significance.
But I
don't
mean
it's
gloomy
in
a
bad
way,
but
I
like
the
sound
so
much. I
would
imagine the
group
will
be
the
reviewers'
favorites
and
I
really
hope
they
manage
to
take
the
audience
by
storm
as
well.
Maybe
some
people
think
it
would sound
80's
indie
but
I
think the
sound
is
so
modern
that
today's
audience
will
love
the
music.
A long time
ago
I
was
so
pleasantly
surprised
by
a
record.
Great
music
with
a
great
group.....welcome
back.....stay
now
and
do
more!
