DETONATIONS-STATIC VISION(CD-ALIVE RECORDS 0055-2) Hela skivan andas 77-punk redan när jag ser omslaget. De startar upp sin första låt på ett punkigt 70-tals vis och på den vägen är det sedan. För det är lite av samma stil som grupperna hade på den tiden och hade de kommit då hade de rankats som jättefarliga. De 11 låtarna sprider elektricitet ut i min kropp och man förstår nästan varför pogodansen blev ”uppfunnen” en gång i tiden. Det finns influenser från Stooges, MC5, Eddie and the Hot Rods osv så ni förstår ungefär var denna grupp ligger. Deras lilla brist är kanske att de inte får till melodierna riktigt lika bra i alla låtar men i det stora hela är detta en skitbra skiva.(SJU) 22/6-04 |
DETONATIONS-STATIC VISION(CD-ALIVE RECORDS 0055-2) The whole record smells 77-punk already when I see the cover. They start up their first song in a punky 70´s way and in that way it is all the time. Because it´s a little bit the same style as the groups had in that time and then they have been seen as dangerous. The 11 songs gives me electricity out in my body and I almost understand why the pogodance was “invented” many years ago. Here´s influences from Stooges, MC5 , Eddie and the Ghot Rods and then you understand where this group is somewhere. The only bad thing is that the melodies isn´t always going the right way but as a wholeness this is a really good record.(SEVEN) 22/6-04 |
