DAG VAG-KACKERLACKA(CD-BALL BASDIGI 4801/BONNEIRAMIGO) Jag såg Dag Vag för första gången sedan början av 80-talet förra året. Jag hade väl inga större förväntningar men de överraskade mig med spelglädje och riktigt bra versioner av sina gamla låtar. Nu har de gjort en ny skiva och jag var lite skeptisk till detta för det sista de gjorde innan de slutade förra gången var inte bra. Men det känns som om de har kommit tillbaks lite grand till stilen de hade på de första skivorna. Man skall låta så här med Stig Vigs lite i bakgrunden av musiken och körer som låter som de ska. Många bra låtar även om det inte kanske finns någon hit i samma stil som Flyger, Dimma eller så men en mycket bra skiva som kommer att spelas många gånger är det. Kommer också rätt i tiden för nu har svensksjungen reggae blivit stort i Sverige och en av de första som spelade det i Sverige måste väl bli hyllade när de är tillbaks.(SJU) 23/8-06 |
DAG VAG-KACKERLACKA(CD-BALL BASDIGI 4801/BONNEIRAMIGO) I saw Dag Vag for the first time since the beginning of the 80´s last year. I ahdn´t any big expectations but they surprised me with a happiness to play and really good versions of their old songs. Now have they done a new record and I was a little bit sceptic to that because the last thing they did before they quit playing the last time wasn´t so good. But it feels like if they have come back to the style they had on the first LP:s. You should sound like this with Stig Vigs a little bit in the background of the music and choirs which sounds as they should. Many good songs is it even if there´s not a hit like Flyger, Dimma or so but they have done a really good record which will be played a lot of times. It comes right in time also because swedishsinged reggae have become really big in Sweden and one of the first bands which played that in Sweden should be taken for heroes when they´re back or?(SEVEN) 23/8-06 |
